Rihanna has yet to speak about the gruesome beatdown ex-boo Chris Brown gave her in February; opting to play it cool hoping talk about the situation would eventually diminish. While, Chris has been very vocal about the tragic incident from his “I’m Not A Monster…” video, interviews and his appearance on CNN’s Larry King Live. Well, it appears that The Good Girl Gone Bad is finally going to speak out about the beatdown drama— on wax. According to Ne-Yo, Rihanna’s getting all her anger out in the booth. He tells E!,

“Expect an edgier, almost angrier Rihanna on this one. Rihanna says some things on this album that you’ve never heard her say before.”

Should Chris be scared?!

Meanwhile, R&B crooner Ne-Yo was on his grown man tip at the Fall Ad Campaign reveal for Macy’s and Alfani at The Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. In related news, Ne-Yo is itching to be part of the star-studded line up at the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna, Austria next month. Although, Ne-Y hasn’t gotten a call yet, he’s already picked the track he wants to sing. He says,

“I’d love to take part in it. My favorite Jackson song is Lady in My Life.”

Don’t expect Ne-Yo to get in the middle of Chris Brown and Rihanna’s beatdown drama. According to Ne-Yo, Rihanna won’t be addressing the drama on any material he writes for her next album. He tells MTV,

“I’ve done some stuff for Rihanna’s [project]. I didn’t really want to go there too much, because I know that’s what everybody is expecting. I don’t think there isn’t a person alive that doesn’t know what happened and what it was. I don’t feel like it needs to be glorified. I don’t think that needs to be a song that’s sung or written. It’s sad that it took that happening to get the attention it deserves. Women get beat up all the time, and nobody says anything about it or chooses to do anything about it. But now that it happened to a celebrity, [it's], ‘Let’s talk about it on Oprah Winfrey.’ “

Since Chris and Ne-Yo are really good friends he doesn’t want to touch on the personal issues Rihanna has with him in her music because of their close friendship. He adds,

“Chris Brown is a friend of mine, and I don’t view him as a bad guy for what happened. It was an absolute mistake, and he has some lessons to learn and some maturing to do. But I’m not gonna bash him for that. I’m not gonna turn my back on a person I call my friend because he made a mistake. [So] I can’t write the Chris Brown bash song and then turn around and look myself in the mirror.”

Imagine not hearing Kanye’s voice on Keri Hilson’s smash hit “Knock You Down”. Weird, huh?! Well, according to Keri Hilson, the track was originally a duet with her and Ne-Yo. It just so happened that Kanye accidentally got on the track and murdered it! She says,

“Ne-Yo and I have wanted to do a song together for quite some time but we just never found the perfect song. When I had this, quickly I thought, ‘oh maybe this could be a duet, maybe this could be the one that I do with Ne-Yo’. So we made that happen.” She adds, “We were about to turn the album in right at the last minute and then I was working with Kanye on something else. That’s how I began working with him and it was purely an accident how he got on that song – it was just me and Ne-Yo.”
