Yesterday, Diddy and Dirty Money honey Dawn Richard stopped by Miami’s Y100 and The Beat radio stations at Clear Channel’s headquarters to promote his Last Train to Paris and to talk about himself of course! Hmm…where’s the other chick from Dirty Money? Earlier this week, the mogul made an appearance on the Home Shopping Network in which his fragrance collection sold out in 15 minutes, thus breaking the channel’s selling record!  Take that, take that Martha Stewart!

While Diddy and Dawn made their rounds in M.I.A., LL Cool J and Maxwell were hard at work rehearsing for “The Grammy Nominations Live Concert: The Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night” which airs tonight on CBS at 9 pm.

Hip-hop pioneer LL Cool J is set to host “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live: Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night”, a one-hour special which will take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. Looks like bosses over at the Grammy Awards are definitely taking heed to the good ole’ saying “if ain’t broke, don’t fix it” ’cause tomorrow night will mark the second annual live primetime nominations for the Grammy Awards. Last year’s airing did so well that bosses over at the Grammy Awards decided to take a shot at it again this year! This year’s presenters include Linkin Park, George Lopez, T-Pain, Smokey Robinson, Katy Perry and a bunch of other celebs. “Sexy B*tch” hitmaker David Guetta is set to spin tunes throughout the special, which also features performances by Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell and much more.  “The Countdown to Music’s Biggest Night” begins tomorrow night, Wednesday, December 2^nd on CBS at 9 p.m.

The clock stops ticking on January 31, 2010, as the 52^nd annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Center in L.A. and will air live on CBS at 8 pm.

It came as a complete shock to many yesterday when news broke that the King of Pop aka Micheal Jackson passed away at the age of 50. Although, he is gone he will never be forgotten. Here’s what a few celebrities/friends of Michael had to say about his life and legacy:

Seems like people just can’t get enough of rap newcomer Drake, including funnyman Jamie Foxx! In a recent interview with MTV, Jamie praised the actor-turned-rapper and even went as far as comparing him to the G.O.A.T aka LL Cool J! Now, that’s major!  He says,

“[Drake] has a way with women, in how he portrays himself. His music is … he can go as gangster as he wants, but when he sings, that is the X-factor. A lot of us use the Auto-Tune, but this guy’s actually melodically soothing when he’s singing to females, and I think that gives him a little bit of what my man LL Cool J had. The reason LL Cool J lasted for so long was because he was an absolute monster when it came to battle rap, but he was, when it came to females … there’s not a lady in the world don’t want to be at an LL Cool J show. So, if this guy can capture what I think he can capture, he’ll really have that.”

He adds,

“I mean, this guy’s gonna come out with a hip-hop album, then he’s gonna come out with an R&B album, then he might come out with a pop mainstream album — he’s that dope.”

I must admit that Drake is talented, but people need to seriously hop off his d*ck. Let the n*gga breath!

You never know who’s going to show up at Hot 97’s Summer Jam concert. The King of New York, Jay-Z brought the King of Pop aka Michael Jackson on stage with him back in 2001. Last year, Method Man, Akon, Jim Jones, Fat Joe, LL Cool J and Ghostface Killah took the stage surprising shocked fans. I highly doubt that this year’s concert is going to be any different ‘cause you never know what to expect at Summer Jam! This year’s line up features the Mary J. Blige, T-Pain, The Dream, Young Jeezy, Jadakiss, Elephant Man, reggae newcomers Mavado and Serani and many more.

Jadakiss recently revealed to MTV that he’s coming out on top at this year’s concert and has a few surprises in store for fans. According to Jada, he’s no longer stuck with opening for other artists, this year he’s going on much later in the show. He says,

“I always try to give one or two surprises. I know they wanna see me. I just dropped a new [album, The Last Kiss], so I gotta keep the surprise guests to a minimum. I might give you Jazmine [Sullivan]. I might give you something nice and soft and something nice and hard. It’s gonna be a good look, though. I feel real good about his one this year.”

This year’s show will be hosted by funnyman Tracy Morgan and will take place at Giants Stadium at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
