Nas is requesting that Def Jam do one thing…just put his sh*t out! Looks like Def Jam is putting the God Son through the ringer and quite frankly he’s tired of it. Wouldn’t you be? The Queens rapper wants to give the people want they want and wants the bosses over at Def Jam to do the same.

With all do respect to you all, Nas is NOBODY’s slave. This is not the 1800?s, respect me and I will respect you.

I won’t even tap dance around in an email, I will get right into it. People connect to the Artist @ the end of the day, they don’t connect with the executives. Honestly, nobody even cares what label puts out a great record, they care about who recorded it. Yet time and time again its the executives who always stand in the way of a creative artist’s dream and aspirations. You don’t help draw the truth from my deepest and most inner soul, you don’t even do a great job @ selling it. The #1 problem with DEF JAM is pretty simple and obvious, the executives think they are the stars. You aren’t…. not even close. As a matter of fact, you wish you were, but it didn’t work out so you took a desk job. To the consumer, I COME FIRST. Stop trying to deprive them! I have a fan base that dies for my music and a RAP label that doesn’t understand RAP. Pretty f***** up situation

This isn’t the 90?s though. Beefing with record labels is so 15 years ago. @ this point I just need you all to be very clear where I stand and how I feel about “my label.” I could go on twitter or hot 97 tomorrow and get 100,000 protesters @ your building but I choose to walk my own path my own way because since day one I have been my own man. I did business with Tommy Mottola and Donnie Einer, two of the most psycho dudes this business ever created. I worked well with them for one major reason……. they believed in me. The didn’t give a f*** about what any radio station or magazine said….those dudes had me.

Lost Tapes is a movement and a very important set up piece for my career as it stands. I started this over 5 years ago @ Columbia and nobody knew what it was or what it did but the label put it out as an LP and the fans went crazy for it and I single handlely built a new brand of rap albums. It’s smart and after 5 years it’s still a head of the game. This feels great and you not feeling what I’m feeling is disturbing. Don’t get in the way of my creativity. We are aligned with the stars here, this is a movement. There is a thing called KARMA that comes to haunt you when you tamper with the aligning stars. WE ARE GIVING THE PEOPLE EXACTLY WHAT THEY WANT. Stop throwing dog s*** on a MAGICAL moment.

You don’t get another Nas recording that doesn’t count against my deal….PERIOD! Keep your b******* $200,000.00 fund. Open the REAL budget. This is a New York pioneers ALBUM, there ain’t many of us. I am ready to drop in the 4th quarter. You don’t even have s*** coming out! Stop being your own worst enemy. Let’s get money!

Is Nas wrong for airing out his label?

It’s officially over for what used to be Hip-hop’s royal couple, Nas and Kelis. Their four year marriage has finally come to an end and we’re pretty sure both parties are relieved that it’s over. So ladies what does this mean for you?! Well, you now have a chance at throwing some booty over Nas’ way. But, don’t get it twisted just ’cause Kelis is no longer Mrs. Jones, don’t expect Nas to wife up or knock up any chicks any time soon.

In 2005, Hip-hop matrimony took place between Nas and Kelis. While, we thought they were destined to be together till death did them part, boy were we shocked when Kelis filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences”. Word is Nas was getting N-A-S-T-Y with random broads among other things, which unfortunately caused the split.

Now, we didn’t think Kelis would actually go through with the divorce, but she shocked us  again when sh*t took a turn for the worst especially after she made it seem like she was dead broke.  We love Kelis, but she definitely OD’d when she asked Nas to hit her up with $20,o00 for a baby stroller and pay for all of her expenses. And most recently, Nas was ordered to hand over a sh*t load of money to Kelis to pay her legal fees, child support, accounting expenses, and spousal support.

We’re pretty sure Nas didn’t think  Kelis would take his a$$ through the ringer and neither did we. There’s no denying that Nas wants to get this divorce over with and so does Kelis, but now she’s gone a bit too far by making it extremely difficult for Nas to see his son Knight. When Kelis filed for divorce, Nas made it clear that he wanted to be “fully involved” in raising their son. Nas recently vented to Vibe magazine:

“My son was born with ice grills, so when his mom feels in the mood she sends pictures. If not, its hell. It’s hell trying to figure that out, trying to get him—I’ll just leave it at that. It’s hell. A man shouldn’t go through that shit, but it’s another story I’ma tell at a different time.”

Why is it that when sh*t goes sour, baby mamas go crazy?! They do spiteful things in an attempt to hurt their baby daddy, when in reality they’re only making themselves look dumb. Ladies, why must we always make things so difficult? If a brotha wants to be involved in his child’s life…let him! We complain when a brotha is a deadbeat, yet in some instances we “create” the deadbeat. A dude is not going to want to deal with a chick who goes haywire every time he comes to pick up his child. And things are worse especially if the brotha has a girl. Why must baby mama’s make things difficult for their baby daddy’s girl? Ladies, take heed! Shorty has nothing to do with your baby daddy drama, so why give her the side-eye when he brings her around or even worse request that he doesn’t bring the kid around her. I mean if shorty was his side piece while he was with you, then by all means give them both hell but if that’s not the case…learn to grow up and be a woman and more importantly a good mother.

Times are really hard for Nas so much so that he’s crying broke! Apparently,  Nas has begged a judge to reduce the amount of money he has to fork over to ex-wifey Kelis because he simply can’t afford it. Really? According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the Queens rapper claims he makes “substantially less than” what the court has ordered him to pay and has asked the judge to take a second look at his finances and re-calcuate his child support payments.

Poor Nas…

Don’t expect Nas and Kelis to kiss and make up–ever!  Apparently, Kelis doesn’t ever want to give Nas another taste of her milkshake! According to TMZ, the singer has filed papers asking the court to speed up their divorce. In court documents filed last week, Kelis said, “it would be in the best interest of both of us if our marital status is terminated as soon as possible”. Apparently, Kelis is worried that legal proceedings will take years to figure out, so she’s asking the judge give her a divorce ASAP and to deal with “all other issues” later. Looks like there really isn’t a chance for these two ’cause Kelis is really “over” Nas. She stated,

“I believe there is no possibility of reconciliation with [Nas].”

Damn…Nas got Kelis begging for a divorce! He must have really did her dirty ’cause this is turning into one messy a$$ divorce. R. Kelly said it best, “When a woman’s fed up, it ain’t nothing you can do about it”.

These past few days have been really tough for Nas. Earlier this week, the rapper found out just how expensive Kelis’ milkshake is after he was ordered to hit her off with over $300,000. According to Nas, he’s just ready to put all the divorce drama behind him and move on with his life. He says,

“All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters.”

I hear that Mr. Jones! Realtalk, it really would’ve been cheaper just to keep her. How is Nas gonna hit Kelis off with all this bread?! Does he even make that much?! Granted he’s not a flashy guy, so I’m pretty sure he has a nice lil’ stash somewhere…I hope.
