Looks like Diddy and the rest of  his Hip-hop friends are going to have to find another spot to flirt with the hoodrats and pop bottles! A while back, we predicted that NYC hotspot M2 would eventually get shut down and ladies and gentlemen so far we’re right. Last Friday, things got really hot when the feds rolled up during Baby of Cash Money’s birthday bash and shut down the velvet rope to partygoers as well as  serving club owners with some papers. 

 ”Having their doors closed hit the venue and its reputation hard, especially on a night they were hosting a private event,” says a snitch.

 Apparently, Diddy is set to host DJ Pro-Style’s birthday bash next Monday, but with the way things are looking–there will be no Ciroc sippin’. Word is a bunch of employees were caught slippin’ after undercover cops witnessed them selling weed and other illegal drugs in the club. Not to mention, some of their bouncers aren’t even licensed!

M2 is known for being “hood”. For some odd reason they just attract a “hood” crowd. I haven’t forgotten what went down at Juelz Santana’s birthday party either. It’s crazy that they were running a drug cartel in the club! WTF?! Where they do that at?! And what’s worse is the club owners jeopardzing the safety of their patrons just to save some bread. SMH…

After an evening of absolute mayhem at SOB’s Wednesday night featuring Nipsey Hussle, Str8NYC scored an interview with Nipsey Hussle. Check out J’More chopping it up with Nipsey to talk about Snoop Dogg comparisons, outliving the XXL 2010 Freshman Class “gift/curse”, and favorite female rappers…

After hours of waiting around backstage at SOB’s for the one and only Nipsey Hussle–four hours to be exact. Ya gurl J’More kicked it with the likes of DJ Kid Capri, Juelz Santana, a plethora of rappers and their entourage.

Nipsey rolled in a lil’ after 11:30pm and that’s when the mayhem began. It was like Jay-Z stepped in the room. The rapper was bombarded with flashing lights that it took him almost 10 minutes to actually make it over to his dressing room which quickly became a room fogged up with his entourage and smoke. After nearly an hour entertaining his entourage and laying down some interviews Nipsey finally made his way on stage where he performed for literally 18 minutes alongside his crew. The East Coast definitely showed the rapper some love.

And the second Harlem’s Prince Juelz Santana took the stage the crowd went crazy!

Shortly after Nipsey’s set ended I made my way backstage to get a one-on-one with the West Coast rapper.

Last night, ya gurls LexAve and J’More hit up SOB’s in NYC to check out the next big thing to come out of the West Coast since Snoop Dogg–Nipsey Hussle.

Last week, Harlem’s Prince, Juelz Santana celebrated his 27th birthday at NYC’s M2 UltraLounge with celebrity friends, Maino, Ashanti, Snoop Dogg, Lil Kim and more. What was supposed to be a night of endless bottle poppin’ and good times ended up turning into a HOT GHETTO MESS and we KNOW why.

Now, Juelz ain’t no Jay-Z, so the crowd Juelz attracts is definitely of a different stature. And boy was it was evident that night, especially when a fight broke out. Some random Rev Run look-a-like jumped the VIP line and ended up getting his a$$ beat. From the looks of it, Maino was ready to thump on homie too. C’mon son…Maino you should know better! Guess it’s true what they say, you can take a n*igga out of the hood, but you can’t take the hood out of a n*gga.

In addition, M2 is one of NYC’s top hotspots and of course everyone wants to party with celebrities. Which is why is no surprise the whole hood was at Juelz’ birthday bash. From Uncle Roscoe to Aunt Neicy, you name it…everybody and their mama was up in M2! But seriously what do you expect when you have an event that’s open to the PUBLIC! Nothing but goons and bird chicks flock to the scene.

And no matter where you go some people just don’t know how to act… especially at the club! The club is like a theater everyone wants to perform. From the moment those doors open, the stuntin’ begins! Aside from a fight breaking out, word is two clubgoers were also arrested for buying up the bar with a phony credit card! Those fools tried to front like they were highrollers and spent over $28,000 on bottles of vodka and champagne…even sending a bottle Juelz’ way. Yet they were far from ballers…the nerve!

All in all this is why Hip-hop gets clowned on a daily basis. If you haven’t noticed by now, Hip Hop is not what it used to be, but rather a JOKE! This is the very reason why high-end lines like Louis Vuitton and Gucci don’t want us in their store, ’cause a selective group of Hip Hop-ers act like a bunch of wild animals. Sure it’s wrong to assume and albeit stereotype, but when incidents like this break out regularly, especially during happy times… can you blame them for thinking the way they do? Poor Juelz just wanted to celebrate his birthday…better luck next time! Hopefully next time he’ll leave Harlem and his goons at the block. You can’t take everyone everywhere.
