50 CENT TALKS CASTING KELLY ROWLAND IN “BABY BY ME”

50 Cent recently chopped it up with Billboard.com and dished on why he chose Kelly Rowland to star in his video. No disrespect to Ciara, but Kizzy is an “international star!…his words, not mine.

50 Cent chose Kelly Rowland to star in his “Baby By Me” video “because she’s beautiful…and has a really strong international presence,” the rapper tells Billboard.com. The Chris Robinson-directed clip premiered on the internet yesterday, November 2nd.

“I ran into Kelly at the Latin VMAs, which I attended to perform with Wisin and Yandel, and I asked her if she would consider doing it,” 50 explains. “You can’t forget all the work she did with Destiny’s Child. The difference between Kelly and Beyonce is the extreme focus they put on Beyonce to make sure she was completely right. Kelly wasn’t held in the same regard, so, in order for her to mean anything to America, they’d have to match the marketing dollars spent on Beyonce. She never received the superstar treatment.”

Sorry CiCi but Fif needed someone with international flava…ya already know UK stans Kelly! Glad to hear Fif give Kelly the credit she deserves.
As for other tracks on Before I Self-Destruct, Fif teams up with R.Kelly on “Could’ve Been You” & “Psycho” featuring Eminem.
Don’t get it twisted this not a love, sex and magic type of record but according to Fif, there’s a lot of “aggression” on this album as well.

“This album is the sequel to ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ — it has all the elements that I missed writing about on that first project,” 50 says. “That album translated the strongest and what I presented then was a lot of aggression. The actual album has lyrics about moments from my childhood, and I describe then from a child’s perspective.”

Last month we broke the news of Lloyd calling Ciara a bitch, check out this video where Lloyd explains to Jenny Boom Boom why Ciara’s “phony & fake”…it all stemmed from an incident where Ciara had her people kick Lloyd and his people out of a studio session. Really?!

He’s starting this new thing now, where he’s being real…really, how ’bout being real from jump, I’m just saying.

Last night, socialite Kim Kardashian celebrated her 29 years of existence at TAO in Las Vegas alongside family and her two BFF’s LaLa and Ciara. Kim’s b-day is actually on October 21st, but hell she got paid $50,000 to celebrate it a few days earlier! A snitch tells the press,

“Kim is worth the huge fee because she’s so hot. The pictures of her party will go everywhere.”

Kim’s on-and-off again boo Reggie Bush was no where in sight and it appears that baby sis’ Khloe was probably tied up with her new beau Lamar Odom ’cause she was a no-show as well.

Sidebar: Still trying to figure out how a friendship between these three ladies even got started. I hope Ciara doesn’t think that hanging out with Kim will boost her career.

Guess it’s true what they say about fame ’cause people tend to act brand new once they get a taste of the spotlight. This definitely rings true for R&B hunk Lloyd who admits that he and singer Ciara were once really good friends, however he eventually cut her off because she let the glitz and the glamour go to her head. He tells HipHopWeekly,

“I don’t f**k with Hollywood b**ches and she’s like one of the chicks that’s just changed along the way with the fame and the money and all of that. I don’t really get down with her anymore on some real s**t. The truth hurts, but it will set you free. But I wish her all the best.”

JORDIN SPARKS REPLACES CIARA ON BRITNEY SPEARS TOUR…REALLY?!

According to Rap-Up, Ciara has been officially been replaced by Jordin Sparks on Britney Spears “Circus” North American tour.

In a press release on Spears’ official website, Jordin Sparks was announced as the new opening act. The release goes on to include previously announced opener Kristinia DeBarge, who will perform on all dates, while up-and-comers Girlicious and One Call will appear in select cities. Ciara is not mentioned.
“Britney’s show is incredible and for me to be a part of it is a great opportunity,” Sparks said in a statement.

Ciara’s rep has since confirmed the replacement and suggests Ciara may perform on a couple spot dates, but nothing has been announced at this time.
WOW! Poor Ciara is on her last leg and catch a break. With flopped record sales, Ciara needs all the publicity she can get. Wait a minute didn’t Jordin Sparks album flopped too. Jive what’s going on here?! Too bad for all those fans that bought tix to see CiCi open for Britney, catch her on her next tour…if it ever happens.
Something tells me this had something to do with Ciara’s fugly wig!
