This past weekend, everybody and their mama headed to Sin City to see Floyd Mayweather whoop Shane Mosely’s a$$–including Chris Brown. While, he sang the National Anthem at the fight (which I’m still trying to figure out whose idea it was) the poor boy couldn’t even enjoy himself afterward. Word is Chris was turned away from every club in Vegas including the Swagg bash at Tao Beach where Jamie Foxx, Busta Rhymes, Nelly and a few other folks were partying it up because unfortunately he’s still a youngin. Now, since when did his age really matter? I’ve seen pics of his a$$ poppin’ bottles in the club—definitely engaged in some underage drinking. According to PageSix, Chris was looking for a spot to celebrate his 21st birthday, which happens to be tomorrow, but not one club would let him and his goons in. It’s not like he didn’t already know he would have issues finding a spot to party especially after bloodying up Rihanna’s face. Chris ended up closing his night with his homeboys at the Sky Villa at the Palms Hotel.

Guess nobody really wants to party with a woman beater, but that ain’t never stop Mike Tyson from gettin’ in the club. #Imjustsayin

Looks like BET took note from MTV’s successful “Hope For Haiti Now” telethon which helped raise over $58 million– sparking the network to create its own telethon titled “SOS Saving Ourselves—Help for Haiti” to be hosted by Queen Latifah, Diddy and Pharrell Williams. The two hour event will take place at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami and will air on BET,  Centric, MTV and VH1 on Friday, February 5^th at 8 pm ET.

“Words cannot express how I felt watching the catastrophic events unfold in Haiti. I believe it is our duty to come together and help our brothers and sisters in Haiti, especially now, in their greatest hour of need. I have joined forces with Queen Latifah, Pharrell, BET and several of the biggest names in music today to raise funds for the Haiti Relief efforts. Together we can make a difference,” says Diddy.

A string of artists including Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson, Chris Brown, Jazmine Sullivan, Akon, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige, Robin Thicke, Monica, Busta Rhymes, India Arie, Kirk Franklin, Nas and Damian Marley are set to hit the stage for this special event. In addition to musical performances, Mr. “Panty Dropper”  aka Trey Songz, Common, David Banner, Missy Elliott, Chrisette Michelle, Jeremih, The Dream, Jason Derulo, T-Pain, Sean Kingston and more will also make appearances.

“The devastation that has occurred in Haiti has broken my heart. My hope is that we can raise enough money to sustain a few of the relief organizations for quite some time as there is a lot of work to be done over there,” said Pharrell Williams. “The goal is not only to bring immediate relief to Haiti but to also rebuild the country and help the country move forward.”

Proceeds from the event will go to Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti, CARE, Project MediShare and Children’s Safe Drinking Water.

Rapper Busta Rhymes stars in the new thriller “Breaking Point” in which he plays a a vicious Gang leader and a notorious drug dealer, however his real life troubles involving a 2006 shooting incident which left his longtime friend and bodyguard Israel Ramirez dead led to issues on the movie set. According to his co-star Tom Berenger,

“There was a whole thing with Busta Rhymes and the New York police on day one when I got there. I shot all my scenes that day in downtown Manhattan but they weren’t with him so it didn’t really affect me. There was something that had happened in a club involving him, where somebody had pulled a gun out or something like that. I really don’t recall the details but they were forbidden to shoot because of safety concerns. I never entirely understood it. The location department had to whip up a bunch of new locations that involved him. We had to shoot scenes with him over in Bayonne and Hoboken, New Jersey all in a row because he had to get to a concert in Portugal.”

A while back it was rumored that the Louis Vuitton Don aka Kanye West quit rapping for singing after he switched up his sound for his latest album, 808s and Heartbreak. Well, if that were true Kanye would definitely need to take a few singing lessons. According to his protégé Mr. Hudson, ‘Ye is actually back in the studio spittin’ rhymes for a traditional hip-hop record. He says,

“Kanye’s getting back into rapping. He might make an old-school record on a tape deck, just like the Beastie Boys used to do. Just a drum machine, ghetto blaster and a microphone.”

Meanwhile, Busta Rhymes’ pockets have just gotten a little lighter as he’s been ordered to pay $75,000 to a fan he allegedly assaulted in 2003. Busta’s alleged beatdown victim, Alex Duncan accused the rapper and his bodyguard of whoopin’ his ass during a break at the rapper’s concert in Albany, NY. Duncan won the case due to an emotional testimony in which he claimed the ass whoopin’ was so severe that he suffered from anxiety attacks and nightmares ever since. Busta tells the NY Post,

“I don’t even go to parties anymore, because there’s always someone asking, ‘What happened to that Busta Rhymes case?’”

Here’s Busta Rhymes’ new video for his new single “World Go Round” featuring U.K. sensation Estelle. Surprisingly, I don’t have any complaints about the video. The visuals are great and there aren’t any booty shaking hoes insight. What’s not to like?!

To kick off the holiday weekend right, Diddy and Ashton Kutcher along with “Malaria No More” hosted an all white affair in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday. A bevy of celebs including, Chris Brown, Megan Good, Mr. & Mrs. Carey and Lil’ Kim to name a few came out to join the fun. Diddy’s baby mama Kim Porter also came through, wonder if she and Cassie exchanged words. Real talk, Diddy is the only nicca I know who’s bold enough to have his baby mama and his jumpoff at the same place and at the same damn time!

Last night a plethora of celebrities including Ciara, Gabriella Union, LaLa Vasquez, and the Kardashian sisters flocked to Maxim’s 10th Annual Hot 100 Celebration at  Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. Unfortunately for Gabrielle Union, model chick Jamie Gunns rocked the same Herve Leger bandage dress to the party. While, poor Ciara looked sickly in a strapless blue dress with some damn cornrows.
