After having all his wisdom teeth pulled out on Monday, Brandy’s lil’ brother Ray J has a swollen face and is in “considerable pain”. The painful dental procedure has forced Ray J to hold off on filming the second season of his reality show For The Love of Ray J. Since Ray J’s feeling like sh*t, big sister Brandy has stepped in as his personal nurse.

Why didn’t Ray J just get one of the hoes from his show to take care of his ass?!

BRANDY’S GOTTA PAY UP!

After a tragic car accident on L.A.’s 405 Freeway which left one woman dead and Brandy’s SUV a lil’ bruised, the singer has finally reached a settlement with the victim’s children. According to court documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court yesterday, the two children of Awatef Aboudihaj will each receive $300,000. DAMN! In December 2006, Brandy’s SUV hit another car on the freeway causing a four-car pileup which unfortunately left Aboudihaj dead. Since the accident Brandy has never bee charged with any crime because L.A . police ruled there was “insuffient evidence” that she committed vehicular manslaughter. Not only does the victim’s children want Brandy to pay for the death of their mother, but the victim’s parents also want a piece of her too! Aboudihaj’s parents have also filed a lawsuit against the singer, however there’s no word on how much they are asking in damages, but trust it won’t be chump change!

BRANDY’S STILL TRYING TO MAKE A COMEBACK…

Can’t nobody hold Brandy down! Shorty isn’t letting anything come between her and her music career. Word is she’s currently working on a new album and has enlisted the help of the industry’s finest, The Dream and N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell William. The Dream will pen a couple tracks for Brandy, while she and Pharrell will hit the studio together once she gets back from touring in the U.K. Since the production of the album is still its early stage, a title hasn’t been selected for the project just yet. In other related news, Brandy is also working on a collaboration album with her porn star lil’ brother Ray J which is tentatively titled R&B.

As much as I love me some Brandy, she should just take the L and stick to acting since her last album Human flopped!

BRANDY: “MY BROTHER NEVER DATED WHITNEY HOUSTON…”

Brandy insists that her lil’ brother Ray J has never dated Whitney Houston although the two were rumored to be more than just friends. According to Brandy, Ray J has sworn that his relationship with Whitney is strictly platonic which she believes to be true. Yeah whatever! She tells Rap-Up magazine,

“Every time I ask Ray J about Whitney he always says that’s just his friend. He’s not dating her. And I don’t think that he would lie to me. I said, ‘Well Ray, that’s not the way it looks. People think that you and Whitney are in a relationship.’ He was like, ‘Well, that’s what they’re gonna think, but I’m telling you the truth and I’m not dating Whitney. Whitney and I are just really good friends and that’s it.’ When I ask Whitney, she says the same thing… I think he’s telling the truth”.

Ray-J recently stopped by Big Boy’s neighborhood to talk about his new reality show For the Love of Ray-J, Whitney Houston, Kim Kardashian & sex tape and more…

Speaking of Whitney Houston, her ex-boo Bobby Brown is going to be a daddy again! Bobby is expecting his fifth child with girlfriend/manager, Alicia Etheridge. Bobby’s agent dropped the news to US magazine saying,

“There aren’t too many details out there right now, but we do know he is very excited, as Bobby is big on family. The sex of the baby is not known yet, and we can confirm she is four months along.”

“BUST IT BABY” PLIES COVERS VIBE MAGAZINE…

Vibe magazine is going out on limb declaring Plies as the future of rap in their December issue. In a one-on-one interview with VIBE Senior Editor Benjamin Meadows-Ingram, Plies reveals why he considers himself the “realest” rapper in the game:

Plies discuses how his 2006 arrest on weapons charges changed his views on the life: “I thought I knew what ‘real’ really meant, in terms of what the streets call real…I honestly thought that what the streets called real was legit.”

Plies responds to the criticism he’s received from other rap artists: “People don’t allow themselves to be honest with themselves until you’re no longer a threat…I don’t concern myself with anyone who’s not coming to my funeral.”

The December 2008 issue also features an exclusive interview with R&B superstar Brandy, providing the first look into her life after her fatal car accident and a four-year hiatus from the spotlight.

“I really didn’t know what to do. I was in limbo for a long time,” she says of the tragedy. “I didn’t go outside for months.”

Brandy also talks about reuniting with long-time producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins as well her relationship with ex-husband Robert Smith and her baby girl.
Another highlight of the December issue is a one-on-one with R&B star Maxwell, where he talks about his 7 year hiatus and the pending release of his latest project strong>Black Summer’s Night. Vibe also takes a look at the life and tragic death of music producer Stephen “Static/Major” Garrett.
