STR8 TALK: BEYONCE’S BABY BUMP BOOST RECORD SALES

You might recall a while back Beyonce’s “4″ album made a lackluster debut on the charts. Well thanks to her flaunting of her new baby bump, King Bey not only made Twitter history but her record sales got a major boost. According to Billboard.com,

Other obvious gainer thanks to the VMA show is Beyonce, who announced she was pregnant during her performance of “Love On Top.” Her “4″ album returns to the top 10 on the Billboard 200 with 39,000 (jumping 12-7; up 87%) and “Love” debuts at No. 10 on Digital Songs with 113,000 (up 803%). This marks the first time the “4″ album has posted a weekly sales increase since its arrival.

Luckily for Bey that baby bump boosted her back to the top on the charts. Now that The Carters are adding a new member to their empire, only more success and mayhem will follow. But is this surprising at all?! After they’re hip hop/pop royal couple. Either way congrats to the parents to be and Happy Belated Bday Bey!

After all the speculation and gossiping…the rumors are now finally true! The Carters are expecting their first born. Check out Beyonce Knowles showing off her baby bump on the black carpet of the MTV VMAs. Though the pair didn’t actually confirm the news, Beyonce was photographed embracing her bump and MTV News went to Twitter to confirm the baby bump.

Congrats to Jay-Z x Beyonce! This ought to slow the hardest working woman in show biz.

Beyonce hit the VMA stage to perform RnB hit “Love on Top” and said to the crowd, “I want you to feel the love that’s growing inside me.” Soon after her performance, she dropped her mic, unbuttoned her glittered blazer, and unveiled her growing bumped and rubbed her belly, while Kanye West congratulated a beaming and papa to be Jay-Z in the audience. CLASSIC MOMENT!

Check out MTV’s latest documentary on today’s MJ, Beyonce. The doc definitely portrays Bey as a humble, hard working, driven, motivated, and admirable woman. After watching it with my galpal, Zunnania, even she was convinced to buy the album…surely it’ll do the same for other viewers.

“Beyoncé: Year of 4″ is the story of Beyoncé’s return as an independent woman navigating her company through the rough waters of the music industry and making a highly personal album that’s unlike anything she’s ever done before.

If there is any artist who does it big, it is definitely Beyonce! With her album 4 on the way and major media coverage, Bey has chosen the perfect time to launch her latest perfume Pulse.

King Bey discusses Pulse with Elle magazine stating “Women always tell me that my music makes them feel strong and confident, and Pulse is about finding that inner power.” The scent is said to floral, summer scent and will be available in September.

Elle gets the scoop on Pulse, life as a mega pop icon, her fashion inspirations and more.

ELLE: Your first fragrance, Heat, was a huge success. Did you feel any pressure following that up?
BK: I didn’t. The success of Heat was amazing, but why not represent a different side of a woman? Pulse represents the woman I am on stage. When I think about excitement, it makes me think about my heart racing and a pulsating beat—it’s my stage persona. Heat represents my sensual side, it’s very spicy and Southern. Heat Rush is more about the woman I am on my off time, when I’m on vacation.

There’s no lie Beyonce is going all out for the promotion of her new album 4 dropping June 28th. We can only expect to see Beyonce everywhere in the next few weeks. Are you ready? In case you missed Beyonce shut it down in the first of Oprah’s two-part “Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular.” Beyonce brought out her schoolgril possee to perform her new single “Run The World (Girls)” in dedication to Oprah’s mogulness. Everyone in the audience was live…there were even shots of Tom Cruise looking totally in awe at Beyonce’s stage takeover.

Beyonce is definitely schooling these youngins!
