All Hip Hop recently reported the former high end call girl, Ashley Dupree, will be managed by Violator exec, Chris Lighty. However, Chris is now lashing back at the media for their erroneous reporting.

“I’m not happy about people referring to me as her manager,” Lighty told us. “I connected her with some people, like Diane Sawyer [for her sit-down interview], but then I backed away. I was doing a favor, but I didn’t realize it would turn into this.” The Violator executive, who’s managed 50 Cent and other superstars, says he’s not working with her to “get her music out there.” Source

He may not be working with her to push her music but surely he’s behind the publishing deal…there’s definitely paper to chase there!

G-UNIT RECRUITS, PROSTITUTE ASHLEY DUPREE?!

AHH reports Chris Lighty’s Violator management company will oversee the career of former call girl, Ashley Dupree…the prostitute who took down Gov. Elliot Spitzer. Though there’s no word on the type of deal they sealed but her two singles “Move Ya Body” and “What We Want” have gotten over 3 million Myspace plays. A snitch claims the former high-end call girl is working on penning a memoir. Surely she’ll have more success than 50 Cent’s G-unit books, everybody loves controversy especially Violator who’ve handled their share of controversial clients such as 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep. So now that Ashley’s working on a publishing deal, we can’t help but wonder will Ms. Dupree replace former G-Unit first lady, Olivia…hmmm, we’ll see!
