Yesterday the nets picked up some rumored story about Rob Kardashian (Kim Kardashian’s lil’ bro) dating Angela Simmons.
According to gossip folks, the couple is said to be going public with their romance when Angela attends Rob’s 23rd birthday in Las Vegas on Friday night.

Well last night, Angela and Rob took it twitter to set the record straight. NO! they’re not dating.

Ya already saw what happened to Lamar Odom’s career when he made it official with Khloe Kardashian…endorsement deals and big checks began pouring in. Perhaps this wouldn’t be such a bad look for either bubbling young’n.

On Relationships

V:I don’t want anyone to ever judge my relationship or be like “Aha, they broke up” next week. I don’t need those words put into the universe, so I just keep all that stuff private. And it keeps our relationship sane… even though he was on Daddy’s Girls this season. We’ve known each other for like four years. I met him in NY, two weeks before I moved to LA. It started out as just friends because I was actually on a date. (Laughs) And then I was just like, Hey, he gets me. We’re both kids of… we understand each other. The weird points when I just want to be by myself, he understands and he wants to be by himself because we both know what it’s like being in families in the public eye.

On Virginity

A: Ok, the whole virginity thing came out because of the breakup I had previously. And on the show, of course, it came up that I was saving myself for marriage. Is it weird that people know that now? Yeah, kind of. Do I care that much? Not really, because it’s not like it’s a bad thing. No, it’s not for everybody. Everybody doesn’t have to wait because that’s not what they feel their destiny is. But this is what I have to do in order to get a relationship where it’s all good. I just think that when the sex factor is taken out of the relationship, you really get to know a person.

On Pastry Line

V: When we first came out I remember they said the meanest things: “Oh, what do they know about sneakers?” We kept working, getting better and learning more. Two years later, the list of things that Pastry is about to foray into is freakin’ mind-blowing. We’re reinventing it.

A: We’re re-launching. We had a little clothing out there and now we’re in the middle of remixing and changing it all up. And we have some really cool shoes coming out.

On Hair

V: I just took out all my extensions and Media Takeout’s like, “Oh, we don’t believe it” but it’s all my hair.

A: At the end of the day, we got hair under these weaves.

MTV just can’t get enough of the Simmons family, so they’re bringing them back for a sixth season! This season won’t be any different from previous seasons, Rev Run and Justine will continue to run the house and will help keep the family together through the good and the bad. And of course JoJo’s run in with the law will be a topic for discussion which gives rise to Justine talking to Diggy and Russy about drugs. Fashionistas and moguls, Angela and Vanessa are also back for a few episodes taking a much needed break from the West Coast.

Could Bow Wow and Angela Simmons be an item?! They’ve been rumored to be a couple for quite some time and now Bow Wow has added further speculation that the two are actually a couple. Guess Bow Wow is finally over Ciara as he has declared his love for Angela in the pages of Giant magazine. He says,


“Angela Simmons is the love of my life. She’s a young black woman doing something incredible. She’s a CEO of a company at 21 years old and a positive role model for kids”.

TK, here’s a word of advice: When you make a 1 minute and 5 second video, clearly there was no point to it! From his POV, the break-up wasn’t about sex as Angie claims it to be…clearly TK couldn’t handle being portrayed as a full blown JACKASS and opted to speak on it.

We saw this coming! With their booming “Pastry” sneaker line, Vanessa’s acting career & Angie’s much buzzed about love life, and of course their relocation to the west coast…it became obvious these ladies were heading down the independent route.


Angela and Vanessa Simmons revealed to Blackvoices.com that the new MTV spin-off, will be called ‘Daddy’s Girls,’ and will follow their “lives in L.A. and what’s going on with us,” since making the bi-coastal move from The Big Apple.

Expect the new series to showcase the sisters as they evolve their popular ‘Pastry’ shoe and clothing line into another more grown-up brand, in addition to embarking upon other exciting ventures.


Nice to see the Simmon’s sisters come into their own, then again it helps when your dad is a founding father of hip hop and you got the name “Simmons”. Don’t cha just hate nepotism, sometimes?!
