50 Cent believes that every time he puts out an album negros want to see his downfall, particularly his rap colleagues. And although he insists his latest album Before I Self Destruct isn’t different from any of his previous albums, however the immense pressure that comes with releasing an album makes him feel like Britney Spears. Guess he might as well pull out a razor and start shaving. He tells MTV,

“Well, the title itself is a representation of the cycle of success from an artist perspective,” he said. “I feel like the general public turns you into a favorite by consuming your material. We all start from an underdog space. And after they consume it, they begin to resent you for not bearing the same pressures. Because you’re in this financial space where they know you’re not under the same circumstances they are. … This is why they like nothing more than to see Britney Spears when she’s shaving her head and swinging at the cameras. We should be covering her more now. They covered it during the confusion, but the intensity, that’s less than when she made the comeback.”

In a recent interview with Complex, West Coast rapper The Game discusses his new album The R.E.D Album, his beef with arch rivals 50 Cent and Jay-Z, and Interscope Records. Check out these interesting excerpts:

Complex: 50’s been baiting Jay-Z recently. As someone who’s had issues with both of them, how do you feel about him going after Jay?

“Oh yeah, I already did that Jay-Z thing. 50’s just doing what I’m doing. Nobody went at Jay, I went at Jay. Now everybody wants to get at Jay, not saying anything about Beanie Sigel, that’s personal and I stay out of that. He’s just a man and he’s got all the right in the world, but I feel like I did something that people have been wanting to do, but everybody is scared because Jay-Z is so lyrically inclined to cut your throat and your career in half that nobody wanted to do it. But me? I just don’t give a fuck sometimes.”

Complex: What do you think that the result of that battle would be?

” Jay-Z will fuck 50 up in a battle! It would be so fast and over with. 50 is funny, but Jay is witty. Jay-Z is not to be toyed with. If he fuckin’ responds, if he feels like you’re really pissing him off and he responds, he’s gonna fuck you up! He would fuck me up, I’m just glad he didn’t fuckin’ respond, so I didn’t have to go dig in my fuckin’ bag and try to fuck him up. I definitely think that Jay-Z didn’t come at me like he came at any other rappers because I definitely would have been more disrespectful and once you start a beef with me you better be ready to go the whole motherfuckin’ 12 rounds because I will try to chew your fuckin’ ear off like Mike Tyson. I’ll do it and I think he knew that—I’m disrespectful. So Jay, he did the right thing and just kinda let it die down and I let it die down ’cause it wasn’t anything really. It was fuckin’ fun and I really admire Jay’s career. I just really don’t care too much for the man himself.”

The Game already knows…nobody wants it with Hov. So, 50 Cent needs to stay in his lane ’cause he’s never gonna get a response from Jay. Jay-Z been off that!

Ever wondered if a battle between Hip-hop’s heavy weights Jay-Z and 50 Cent will ever take place?! Apparently, 50  is itching to battle Jay as he recently told MTV that it would be “great for Hip-hop”. He says,

“Well, it would be great. It would be great for hip-hop.” He adds,”It would probably be interesting, but I don’t think one of us will survive it. I don’t have a relationship with Jay-Z. We’re just both a part of hip-hop culture. We’re not friends. We don’t call each other to talk at leisure.”

50 Cent got another thing coming if he thinks Jay-Z is going to waste his time beefing with his ass. As for 50 stating that if they were to battle that neither of them would survive it.. uh I beg to differ. Jay-Z would definitely eat up what’s left of 50’s music career!

Anywhoo, 50’s new album Before I Self Destruct hits store shelves tomorrow, November 16th!

Word is cougar Vivica A. Fox wants that young thing back! It appears that Aunt Viv has reconciled with ex-boo 50 Cent. Remember when he put her ass on blast after they broke up and made a mockery of their relationship? Well, Aunt Viv must have missed the d*ck ’cause shorty popped up on the set of 50’s new video for his new single. A snitch tells Page Six,

“They were very cordial and friendly”. Adding, “I guess the animosity has faded.”

Meanwhile, 50 claims that he and Vivica are cordial and that she’s actually featured in his new video. Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see how this pans out.

Although word on the street is that rapper 50 Cent signed former ROC member Beanie Sigel, the deal isn’t official yet. Apparently, 50 wants to take his time with this one–in other words, he wants to see what Beanie has to bring to the table. Yesterday, the rapper told MTV,

“I had a meeting with him today. First we gotta start with the music — where’s the music? Then we have to get into what it would take to bring him over to G-Unit as a record company. You can’t sign a deal in a conversation — it’s a process. We’ll see what happens. Adding, “I would listen to what he has. His skills haven’t diminished. Nine times out of 10, he’ll have something workable already on deck. When you’re dealing with artists who have been established longer than you, it’s a process. You have to figure out exactly where they are at before you commit to being a part of those projects, because they have habits and they’ve been conditioned for something different. You have to figure out exactly what that is before you dive in.”

Is Beanie heading over to join the ranks of G-Unit a good move?!

After being leaked on the internet, the release date for rapper 50 Cent’s upcoming album Before I Self Destruct has been moved up.  A statement from Interscope reads:

“50 Cent’s fourth studio album, “Before I Self Destruct” leaked almost a full month before the expected release date. In an effort to combat widespread piracy, the album will now be available in stores on November 16th. The album is currently available for digital pre-order exclusively on iTunes (www.itunes.com). Pre-order consumers will receive the exclusive track “Man’s World” in addition to what post-release date iTunes consumers will receive.”

“Before I Self Destruct” was originally scheduled to drop November 23^rd, but Interscope immediately hopped into damage control once the album leaked on the net. I must say that this definitely a good week for 50! He got free promo from Beanie Sigel’s rant about Jay-Z, signs Beanie to G-Unit and now his album gets moved up.

Meanwhile, 50’s arch nemesis rapper The Game’s The R.E.D Album was given the red light and has been pushed back. The album was scheduled to drop December 8th, but label bosses over at Interscope decided to push it back to allow him and Dr. Dre more time to work on the project. Using  Twitter as his publicist, he hopped onto his account to break the bad/good news, he writes,

“Album is Officially pushed back, says Interscope so that I can finish wit Dre without having to rush him, myself or the album. Think R.E.D.”

Currently there is no word on a new release date, but we’ll definitely keep you updated!
