When it comes to the Knowles sisters, it’s kinda hard to believe that Solange is actually Beyonce’s sister! Solange comes off as being more of a free spirit and is definitely less reserved. Anywhoo, I came across a lil’ interview Solange did with Blender which definitely shocked the sh*t out of me! All I kept saying to myself was, “OMG! Wait till Papa Knowles hears this…if he hasn’t already”. Who would’ve guessed that Miss SoL-Angel gets high and enjoys a tall glass of beer from time to time. Check out the excerpts below.

OK, so it’s a Friday night at 11 p.m. What are you doing?
I’m either at home with my son or out drinking some Coronas and adding to my beer belly.

Where do you drink your Coronas?
Dive bars. Two doors down from here there’s a little joint that’s full of old rednecks. I go in there, drop $10 in the jukebox, play nothing but Marvin and Prince and just get wasted. The rednecks are like, What the fuck?!

What kind of drunk are you?
I am a Miss-Tina’s-in-the-back-of-my-head kind of drunk.

You mean, your mom. What is she saying?
“Girl, you better have some panties on!” My mom’s so reserved—last year, for my 21st birthday, she was like, “You can have one glass of champagne, and that’s it.” I said, “First of all, I haven’t lived with you since I was 17. Second, I’m divorced. And third, I have a kid. I am drinking tonight.”

If we drug-tested you, what would we find?
I’ve got a song called “Champagne Chronic Nightcap.” That’s about as wild as it gets for me—that and the Coronas.

Ever doubted your sexual orientation?
You mean like in that Katy Perry song? Negative. I’m strictly dickly.

Solange is too funny! See, this is why I f*cks with her. Beyonce needs to be more like her lil’ sis and loosen up a bit!

One would think that with the millions…well maybe not millions, but thousands of dollars Tony Yayo has that his mother would be living like a Queen in a mansion somewhere out in the burbs, but she’s not! According to Yayo he’s been on a mission trying to find his mom a safer place to live after her crib was sprayed with bullets. DAMN! Despite his constant begging, momma Yayo refuses to move out of her Queens home. Yayo insists that his mother’s crib was a random target in other words no one has a hit out on him, but that doesn’t mean squat because he still wants her out! Ironically Yayo’s mom lives 1 block away from where Fifty’s ass got shot 9 times. Anywhoo, Yayo’s main problem is that his mom is one proud Haitian woman and if you don’t know much about Haitian women…they can be very stubborn at times.
He says,

“She don’t want to move. I begged her plenty of times… (but) my mom’s values are different. She feels like she prays and she’s got God on her side. “I’m trying to explain to her, `Mom, I’d rather somebody come and shoot at me than shoot at the house for no reason.’”

So what does G-Unit’s ring leader Fifty have to say about all of this? Well, according to him,

“She’s still staying in the same area. She should have listened and moved.”

It’s one thing to hear gun shots ringing in the hood, but when you’re crib gets shot up for no reason…then yeah it’s definitely time to leave.

The world already knows that Jay-Z and Beyonce tied the knot back in April. Although they have both been spotted donning their wedding rings, neither Jay or Be have actually spoken publicly about the nuptials or even confirmed that a wedding took place. In this month’s issue of Vibe, Jay-Z defends his reason for not publicizing details of their private lives.

He says,

“I just think it’s really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself. You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you. I shared so much of my life, my childhood, and my family, the death of my nephew with the world. I should have something to hold on to. You need something for your sanity … to say, Okay, I could chill out, and this is it.”

In other Jay-Z news, the mogul has teamed up with NYC’s Mayor Bloomberg to kick off the Summer Streets program, an effort to transform the NYC’s congested streets into traffic-free playgrounds. Jay hopes that his involvement in the program will inspire teens to get involved in more positive activities. The program is scheduled to run every Saturday until August 23….so if you’re free in the coming saturdays to make it a point to enjoy the 7 mile block party.

Boricua mami, Rosie Perez, is in a tizzy with titty loving rapper Kanye West and checks him in his track “Good Morning”.You might recall the lyric going a little something like this:

“You got D’s motherf**ker, D’s, Rosie Perez.”

Rosie fires back,

“I’m a woman of a certain age (and) if you’re gonna mention me in a song, have a little respect. He mentions my breasts.
“When you walk down the street and you have 15-year-old boys… (and) they’re like, ‘Yo, Rosie, D’s D’s, Rosie Perez,’ it’s no good.”

Rosie kills me…you might remember her beef with Jay-Z last year. Roll the clip…

“R. Kelly was very instrumental in making a lot of decisions when it came to my records being played on the radio. He would make a call to the radio station or to the label and say, ‘Hey, this Joe record is too hot right now. Y’all (sic) need to pull that back.’ And they would oblige. It’s incredible that now I get the opportunity to, I don’t know, maybe pay (R. Kelly) back in some sort of side bar kind of thing.”

“I’m still very relevant in the game. But yeah, he did try to make some decisions when it came down to my records being on fire, and climbing up the charts and on the radio stations. He felt like they should pull back because he felt he was more important. And with their loyalty to him, they obliged.”

I love me some Joe and the last thing I wanna assume is he’s trying to garner some media attention….but you can’t put it past him. As for Kellz, don’t be surprised if he is in fact hating on Joe…I’m saying he hated on Ne-Yo (memba?) And the dude pisses on youngn’s…why wouldn’t he hate on another RnB dude. All I’m sayin’ is why is this pisser walking free, shouldn’t his ass be locked up in a jail cell somewhere gettin’ duked by other inmates?!

For Diddy seeings details about his personal life being spilled all over tabloids is really affecting his game. According to Diddy, he’s tight at the media for being so nosy when it comes to his relationships because their intrusion destroys any possibilities of a full fledged romance with chicks that he might want to wife up. Although he’s been linked to beauties like Sienna Miller and Cameron Diaz, and most recently the talentless, Cassie Ventura, he insists that any chances he may have had with these women have been completely crushed by the intense media coverage.
He tells Britain’s Glamour magazine,

“It doesn’t make me laugh at all. Sometimes there’s someone you may be trying to become friends with or you may even be thinking about going out with the person, but because of all that, it can never get off the ground. That’s just a nuisance.”

One thing is for sure, Diddy needs to stop worrying about these damn chicks and focus on his damn kids!

You know blogging has hit an all time high when celebs admit to hittin’ up blogs from time to time just to catch up on the scoop about none other than themselves. One celebrity in particular, DC3’s Michelle Williams reveals that she likes to read what fans think of her image changes and her style because they help her make better decisions about the way she looks.
She says,

“(There) was something about my eyebrows. They (fans) said they were too dark and I forgot to get my eyebrows done… The next day I got my brows done. Stuff like that I don’t care about”.

Good thing…at least she’s taking notes!
