KELLY ON DC3 REUNION: “IT AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN!”

Earlier this month, Michelle broke the news to Britain’s New’s of the World that a Destiny’s Child reunion was definitely in the works. Either the paper misquoted Michelle or she’s just itching to get back on stage with her “sisters” ’cause Kelly insists that DC3 is not getting back together. She says,

“We’re not getting back together, they’re just rumors. It seems people are thirsty for it to happen, but it’s not on the books. Michelle is playing Roxie in Chicago, I’m working on my solo album and Beyoncé’s got her own things going on.”

Geez, it seems like Kelly is really against a DC3 reunion. What’s the problem?!

Wait I don’t get it…so is there going be a Ruff Ryder reunion or not? And as for the lack of female rappers…why doesn’t Eve stop worrying about it and just grab a mic. Don’t talk about it, be about it! What is really going on with this hip hop game? Are label execs purposely putting a hold on these femcees or have these ladies just given up? Somebody talk to me, school me. Why don’t the ladies just rally up and make it happen?! What’s the hold up?

NAS & KELIS REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD!

Looks like Mr. & Mrs. Jones have reconciled their differences and are back together. The rumors of Nas and Kelis began circulating when the pair were spotted kissing at a party at NYC’s Marquee club on Monday. A snitch said: “Nas and Kelis were celebrating his birthday with some friends and you couldn’t tell they were divorcing to look at them. They seemed very intimate and were kissing and hugging and even left together.”
And just last night, Nas & Kelis stepped out together for Hair Rules New York Salon Opening Gala. It’s nice to see black love rule. But I can’t help and wonder what brought about this change of heart. Maybe forking $55k a month was just too steep for the hip hop icon and settled for just shutting up and making it work…let’s face it people, Kelis had Nas by the balls. Either he straightened up and quit playing games or she was gonna clean him out for all he’s worth.

Looks like Jay and Bey will be putting their happily ever after on hold…Destiny’s Child is planning a reunion for 2010. Michelle Williams confirmed the news to Britain’s News of the World newspaper:

“It will definitely happen,” says Michelle Williams about the group reuniting next year. “We’re sisters, we love each other and we want to work on the future of Destiny’s Child.”

A source said: “They still have another album they owe their label, Columbia Records, on their contract.”
The RnB trio parted ways back in 2005 to pursue solo careers and as planned Beyonce was the most successful. Surely Kelly & Michelle would be down for a reunion, but will Beyonce? Will Jay-Z? Will Matthew? Time will tell….

But realtalk, we could use a fresh new sound from the ladies- there’s really no all-girl singing group killing it at the moment, Kelly & Michelle could use the $$$…hell I say BRING IT!
