“There’s a lot of bigger fish to be fried when it comes to the justice system,” Kim wisely commented. “I don’t want herto do that time, and I don’t feel like she deserves that time … If you’re not killing someone or doing something really drastic, really, to me, no one deserves to be judged. I think a lot of celebrities who have received prison time, I think the judges have been pretty harsh. I feel like my time was harsh. I mean, we as celebrities do a lot of good, but that doesn’t get looked upon.”

Rikers Island might need to invest in a red carpet. Word is Diddy took a trip to the prison to visit homie Lil Wayne earlier this week, however the reason for his visit is unknown. The rap mogul swapped out his Bently and hopped on the bus just like all the other common folk visitors.  According to snitches, Diddy was on a pre-approved list to see the p*ssy monster and they were only allowed to chat for an hour.

Hmm…wonder what sparked this visit? Could it be ’cause Diddy is Nicki Minaj’s new manager?

Yesterday, we reported that this past weekend sh*t got a lil’ crazy at NY prison Rikers Island. For those of you who aren’t aware, this is the same prison where p*ssy monster aka Lil Wayne currently rests his head. A snitch revealed to MTV News that Weezy was not involved in the brawl that sent inmates and prison guards to the hospital. Word is Lil Wayne is actually “doing well and he’s adapting to the situation”. The snitch also shut down rumors that the rapper got into a scuffle with another inmate just days after he got in the joint.

“That’s a rumor I heard, but nothing substantiated,” the snitch said.

The snitch went on to confirm what has been speculated–Lil Wayne is in protective custody.

“While he’s walking the hallways, he’s told not to communicate with these guys. So they’re a bit disgruntled because he’s not hollering back”, adds the snitch.

So there’s no need to worry Weezy fans ’cause not only was ya boy unharmed, but he’s also chillin’!

This past weekend things got really crazy at Rikers Island in New York– the same prison where rapper Lil’ Wayne currently calls home. It all started around 11 pm when a group of prisoners refused to go back in their cells before the lights went out. According to Corrections Department mouthpiece Stephen Morello,

“A few inmates were encouraging others not to lock in. So we sent a response team to maintain order and get inmates locked in.”

The melee left 20 inmates injured, while two captains and 11 guards were rushed to a nearby hospital. Guess those inmates really have nothing to lose as they’re looking at facing more time in the pen ’cause charges are expected to be filed against them.

Where was Lil’ Wayne when this all went down?

Looks like T.I. is doing a-okay behind bars…well at least that’s what his bust-it baby fiancee Tameka “Tiny” Cottle says. She tells MTV,

“I talk to him every day, sometimes a couple times a day. And I see him every weekend on Sundays, sometimes on Monday.” Adding, “He’s doing real good and he’s ready to come on home”.

Word is the ATL rapper might be out of the pen by April of next year. Keep ya fingers crossed!

Aside from the fact that he recently copped a plea and is expected to serve a year in the pen for possession of an illegal gun, rapper Lil Wayne isn’t letting his legal woes stop him from having a good ole’ time! Word is Lil Wayne and buddy Nelly were spotted partying it up at a Miami hot spot. A snitch reveals to the NYPost,

“They were with a big group of women and stayed until 4 a.m.”

Lil Wayne is expected to be sentenced in February, not to mention he already has to stand trial in March 2010 to face drug possession charges stemming from an 2008 arrest in Yuma, Arizona.
