STR8 COVERS: JAY-Z x KANYE WEST “WATCH THE THRONE”

After much speculation and anticipation, fans can now officially patiently wait for Hip Hop’s moguls Jay-Z x Kanye West collabo album Watch The Throne to drop August 2nd. For all you eager heads, be sure to pre-order it HERE. Jay-Z and Kanye enlisted Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci to design the gold metallic cover excluding both the artists’ names and album title. Word is there will be two versions to the ep,

The deluxe CD is being sold for $16.99, while the standard CD goes for $13.99. The album is also available in MP3 versions; with the deluxe copy going for $14.99 and the standard digital album priced at $11.99. Shipping costs and taxes are not included.

The artwork was officially unveiled on WatchtheThrone.com on Sunday night along with a pre-order link.

Big Sean finally drops the final artwork for his upcoming debut album Finally Famous dropping June 28th. I really hope he releases better material if he wants to move some units. I am much more of a fan of the mixtape Big Sean, and I am not feeling that “My Last” joint with Chris Brown. Let’s see if the G.O.O.D Music artist will actually put out some GOOD Music..

Baby MJ aka Beyonce has finally unveiled the album cover to the highly anticipated “4″. Loving the simplistic yet high fashion feel of the cover. Great album art cover.
Supposedly Queen B recorded the tracks for this fourth album while on her hiatus this past year. Word is she recorded 72 tracks and record execs were just so impressed with the material. Definitely can’t wait to hear the next joints of this album.

“4″ drops June 28th! Best believe all the ladies will cop this one!

Weezy’s highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter IV, has been pushed back from May 16th to June 21, according to XXL. And it’s been circulated around the net that this is in fact the album cover to Tha Carter IV. This is ridiculous and just as odd as Tha Carter III. In my opinion, this will be a blend of mediocrity and fire songs, and it will be forgotten by Fall. *Shrugs* His first two albums were classic, and went downhill afterward. Young Mula!

Kanye lets loose of the unanimously the most bizarre album covers in hip hop history via twitter the other day.. “Banned in the USA!!! They tried to play me fam! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix!” KanYeezy tweeted before posting the controversial artwork illustrated by artist George Condo. “In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #Kanyeshrug!” he added. “I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity.”

The now redhead bombshell, Rihanna, is back with a new album Loud. Yesterday the rudegal took it to twitter and Facebook to debut the new album cover.

Her lead single “Only Girl (In the World)” already is sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Will you be playing this loud or low?!
Something tells me it might change…I mean Loud isn’t set to drop until November 16th. I’m almost sure this isn’t the final album cover…just a taste of what’s to come.

N.E.R.D is back with full force! Check out their new album cover for their fourth studio album entitled Nothing, set to drop this fall.
