Self-proclaimed Princess of Harlem, Teyana Taylor is giving you more reasons to “Google” her! Aside from her new lip gloss line “DopeLips”, the Harlem native is set to make her acting debut in “Stomp The Yard 2: The Homecoming”. She told BV Buzz,

“I am very excited about this movie. The anticipation is crazy! The cast is dope. I am definitely ready to bring my swag to Stomp The Yard 2. Adding, “I am extremely grateful to Will [Packer], Rob [Hardy] and Columbus [Short] for this opportunity to display all of my talents in this film.”

Teyana’s not the only one making their acting debut, 106 & Park’s host Terrence J. has also snagged a role in the film. Production for the film has already begun in Atlanta.

Glad to hear Teyana is making serious moves!

Remember that hilarious skit Martin Lawrence & Jamie Foxx did for the BET awards earlier this year…called “Skank Robbers”- well due to popular demand there’s a real film in the works.


“Sheneneh and Wanda” are based on the characters created by the comics in their early days and featured on Lawrence’s hit show “Martin” and Foxx’s “In Living Color.” The two reprised their roles for a faux trailer aired on this year’s “BET Awards.” But now, the trailer looks like it really is a preview of what’s to come.

According to reports, the skit “Skank Robbers,” available to watch on YouTube, will be fleshed out into a full-fledged comedy. “Skank Robbers” will feature a similar storyline from the popular parody, featuring the two female characters involved in bank robberies.

Foxx will reportedly pen the script and will produce with his Foxxhole company along with Lawrence’s Runteldat production company.


I can stand about 5 minutes of these two…but a full 1.5 hour, man I dunno!

Anywhoo, glad to see Martin is back and comedians sticking together.
