Dissing Jay-Z didn’t work, nor did linking up with 50 Cent ’cause now the tax man is after Beanie Sigel. The Philly rapper is charged with failing to file his taxes and reporting his gross income for three years! According to the Philadelphia’s  District Court, Beanie didn’t pay taxes on $1.5 million from 2003-2005. DAMN!

If convicted, the former Roc Boy could spend three years in the pen. And according to his lawyer, Fortunato Perri Jr. he’s likely to plead guilty.

Whatever happened to hiring an accountant? Looks like Beanie needs to hit the studio quick! Wonder if homie 50 will lend him a couple thousands. Ha!

Times are really hard for Nas so much so that he’s crying broke! Apparently,  Nas has begged a judge to reduce the amount of money he has to fork over to ex-wifey Kelis because he simply can’t afford it. Really? According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the Queens rapper claims he makes “substantially less than” what the court has ordered him to pay and has asked the judge to take a second look at his finances and re-calcuate his child support payments.

These past few days have been really tough for Nas. Earlier this week, the rapper found out just how expensive Kelis’ milkshake is after he was ordered to hit her off with over $300,000. According to Nas, he’s just ready to put all the divorce drama behind him and move on with his life. He says,

“All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters.”

I hear that Mr. Jones! Realtalk, it really would’ve been cheaper just to keep her. How is Nas gonna hit Kelis off with all this bread?! Does he even make that much?! Granted he’s not a flashy guy, so I’m pretty sure he has a nice lil’ stash somewhere…I hope.

Kelis’ milkshake may have brought Nas to the yard, but now it’s costing him thousands! In dealing with his bitter divorce to Kelis, the rapper went to L.A.  County Superior court on Monday and walked out with a dent in his wallet. According to court documents, Nas has to hand over $47, 249.42 in back child support and another $40, 454 in back spousal support. The judge also order him to pay $10, 000 a month in spousal support until he gives Kelis $299.015.90 that he owes her. Not to mention the brotha has to pay 90% of Kelis’ legal fees which totals up to $155, 787.28. But it doesn’t stop there he also has to give Kelis $48, 549.83 to pay her accounting expenses. DAMN!

Kelis’ milkshake is quite expensive, if ya ask me! Nas probably has his head down somewhere regretting that he even tried it.

Toni Braxton is the latest celebrity to piss off Uncle Sam. When will people realize that the one thing you don’t do to Uncle Sam is mess with his paper? Dude is serious when it comes to his money and when people don’t come correct he sends out his goons to get it by any means necessary. Word is Toni and her estranged husband owe Uncle Sam $396, 000 in back taxes from 2007 and 2008. WOW! And as if being on Uncle Sam’s bad side isn’t already a headache, Toni is being sued by a mortgage bank that claims she owes them $900, 000 in loan payments. Apparently, the songstress didn’t have the funds ’cause she failed to make her mortgage payments last year.

So is this the reason behind the sudden comeback?

Looks like “pitbull in a skirt” aka Eve and Uncle Sam aren’t on good terms. Word is the Philly rapper owes the IRS $357, 000 after falling behind on her income tax payments for two years! Not to mention, a few weeks ago Eve’s name popped up in a money laundering investigation involving her on/off again boo Teodorin Nguema.

Looks like times are really hard for funnyman Sinbad as he’s been forced to put his crib on the market to pay off his debt–a month after he declared bankruptcy. The comedian owes more than $8 million in unpaid taxes. So as a last resort to clear up his debt, he’s selling his crib for $3 million which leaves him still owing Uncle Sam $5 million.

Damn Sinbad! What ever happened to hiring an accountant?

First Jay-Z left him and took Roc-A-Fella and everything else with him, then his fashion designer wife Rachel Roy served his ass with divorce papers, and just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse for Dame Dash, there was talk that several of his properties went into foreclosure…not to mention he owes NY state $2 million in back taxes. Well, contrary to what the public believes–Dame Dash says he’s not broke! In fact he claims he’s doing just fine actually. He tells MTV,

“I have fun everyday. The problem is, I think people take themselves a little bit too serious. I’m happy to be a part of history so many different times in so many different ways. I’m from a place where you have your ups and your downs. That’s not really what I’m concerned about. It don’t matter. I’m Dame Dash broke, I’m Dame Dash not broke — I’m Dame Dash when I got some money. But we also know that when Dame Dash got some money, he’s putting it into his businesses. I am a cake-aholic. My quality of living never really changes, ever! I’ve never had to sacrifice or compromise.” Adding, “All this other stuff, because these people wanna sell papers and say things, I don’t care about that. I don’t defend myself. Say what you want. I actually prefer it at times. For people to think [I'm in ruins], so I could have some fun. People be knocking my fun all the time. I wish they could have fun.”

Sticking to his money making ways, Dame is releasing Black Keys’ next album BlakRoc on noneother than Black Friday of course! The album features collaborations with RZA, Raekwon, Mos Def, Q-Tip and more.

While some have lost their jobs and even their homes to the recession, others like rapper Fifty Cent have been hit in an entirely different way. The recession has caused Fifty Cent to cut back on the amount of bling he purchases. Really?! He tells The London Telegraph,

“The credit crunch has hit rap. I buy diamonds on a very regular basis, but now I am selling my old stuff before I get something new. These are times when you learn about the value of money. If you don’t lose money in this recession, it means you didn’t have enough to start off with. Adding, “Sure, I lost a few million, but that’s because I have so much. This is a time that will sort out the strong from the weak.”

And if anyone could teach people about getting rich without having to die trying… it’s Fifty! He adds,

“Any businessman who wants a piece of the future should learn from me. Obama is great. If he wants me as his financial adviser that would be cool.”

Before Ike Jr. aka Chris Brown whooped Rihanna’s ass, he had a pretty big endorsement deal with Wrigley’s Double Mint Gum. Apparently, Wrigley’s didn’t want their product to be associated with a woman beater, so they eventually scrapped the campaign and dropped Chris after he pled guilty to assaulting RiRi. Word is after all the money and time they wasted on Chris, Wrigley wants it all back! 

Chris Brown hasn’t heard the last of Wrigley Doublemint Gum.  He had a very lucrative contract with Wrigley and his ad campaign was not only successful, it produced his hit song “Forever.” Chris had apparently signed up for another five year stint with Wrigley and finished a number of commercials when the Rihanna incident happened. Wrigley pulled his ads and fired Chris. Now they are said to be preparing to sue Chris for all the money they lost due to his bad behavior. They spent big bucks on ads featuring Chris along with other celebrities like JayZ and Mariah Carey. Since Chris was in them also – everything had to be ditched. Wrigley is mad and we hear they hope to recoup the money Chris caused them to lose with a big fat lawsuit.

In related Ike Jr. news, Chris wants to thank all of his loyal fans for supporting him throughout the Rihanna beatdown drama by putting on a “fan appreciation tour”.
