LEBRON JAMES’ NEW “NIKE” AD ASKS “WHAT SHOULD I DO?”

Nike calls on King James for its new “Rise” campaign. In this new 90-second spot, Lebron James or rather Nike helps Lebron rehabilitate his image after last summer’s widely publicized “Decision”. The spot asks, “What should I do?”…to which I say “Just Do It”. Real clever NIKE! Talk about a great PR tactic on addressing his critics and even admitting his “wrongs”.

…Should I admit I made mistakes?
Should I really believe I ruined my legacy?
Should I tell you I am not a role model?
Should I be who you want me to be?
Maybe I should just disappear? …

Hands down a very compelling ad spot…one consumers will definitely relate to. But we’ll see how he and the rest of Miami Heat play against the Celtics tonight.

It’s been a minute since I heard about my gurl Melanie Fiona..granted she’s globetrotting making her mark overseas but damn do I miss her. Now that Jennifer Hudson is getting PAID that WeightWatchers bread, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t give two sh*ts about her old gig at Avon. The women’s beauty retailer, has decided to replace J. Hud with Miss Keri Babyy! Avon has scooped up Keri Hilson to be the new face of their Imari fragrance. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Avon announced the big news on April 12^th in Las Vegas at its annual conference, however there’s no word on when Keri’s ads will run or what they’ll look like.

Here’s what happens when photoshop goes to the extreme! For example, peep Kimora Lee Simmons’ ad for her new fragrance “Dare Me” where she looks more like her pint-sized Barbie doll. Now we all know Kimora’s not a skinny chick, but damn her team OD’d with the photoshop. Realtalk, I had to do a double take ’cause it looks like they put her freakin’ head on Chanel Iman’s body.

After giving birth to a baby boy last year, singer/actress Jennifer Hudson quickly got rid of her baby fat not by calling Jenny Craig, but rather hitting up WeightWatchers. Since shedding the extra pounds, J. Hud has been itching to reveal her weight loss secret. And now the singer can be seen on your television screen as she’s the new spokeswoman for WeightWatchers. She says,

“I have been losing weight with WeightWatchers, and I feel great. I’m excited to share my progress, my favorite things, my blog and more… I’m learning so much about healthy living, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. One of the things I am most excited about in my life right now is that I can finally tell everyone what I have been doing to lose weight. It ha s been so hard not to say I’ve been following WeightWatchers, especially since people are constantly complimenting me on how I look. Really, I’ve been dying to tell people what my ‘secret’ is!”

We us love us some Ciara but lately her musical career has been a bust! Sure the girl knows how put on a performance a-la Janet Jackson…but lately her songs of choice and recent collabos have been rather lackluster. Luckily for her there just might be hope….in come Lady Gaga to the rescue. In a recent interview with People Magazine, Lady Gaga said that she’d love to work with Ciara and Nelly Furtado in the near future.
Can you imagine a Lady Gaga/Ciara performance…that’ll be perfection. Imagine this…

With Ciara’s precise dance movements and Lady Gaga’s theatrics, that collabo might just work! Maybe not on an actual record but performance wise, these two would be magic on stage. I’m just saying…anyway you look at it Ciara could use the boost.
