As we’ve brought you the soulful sounds of Stush Music recording artist Heather Park to the hard hitting Multi-platinum producer Chad Beatz we are pleased to introduce you to triple threat- R&B/Pop recording artist Duane Howard! With his charming good looks, a vocal range that young talent can only dream of, the independently smooth Duane Howard just released his first single “Gimme Your Body” which is already making its way to radio rotation!

Duane Howard is the winner of Hot 97 Monse’s Sunday Night Showcase that was held last year on November 21, 2010. A competition set-up similar to the very popular American Idol television series where several live performance competitions would end up with a runner up followed by one winner.

Since his win, the 22-year-old singer has been independently hard at work writing and co-producing several songs from his EP “Blue Light” and newly released single “Gimme Your Body”. “Blue Light” is a personal journey of melodic memoirs that signify Duane’s journey to musical success. As many relate to red as stop, green to go, and yellow to slow down, a blue light represents the luminous energy and path in which only Duane follows. Though most of the songs on Duane’s EP reflect a more playful and seductive Duane Howard, the title track “Blue Light” optimally reflects that in which it is titled, while vocally expressing the passion in which only true talent can possess. Duane’s single “Gimme Your Body” is infectiously infused with Duane’s Jamaican roots intermixed with smooth R&B vocals showcasing his vocals and versatility. Duane has been featured in Irish & Chin, The Dub Plate, and has collaborated with Reggae artists such as Junior Kelly.

Versatile as he is talented, Duane has the ability to hypnotize people of all ages and backgrounds. His music is to be viewed as a coalescence of various experiences, times, emotions, and moods. Duane is currently preparing for a number of shows including a opening performance for Pop/R&B sensation Shontelle October 6, 2011 at BB KINGS.
