Young Money’s first lady, Harajuku-Barbie Nicki Minaj gets sexy with Complex magazine– dispelling rumors that her cakes are fake! The Queen’s native talks her how she “transforms” in the bedroom, why she’s manless and her dream vacation. Real talk, when Nicki first hit the scene I wasn’t a tad bit impressed, but now she’s beginning to grow on me. Although, I can’t deal with the bird-like tone and the Barbie ish, there’s no denying that she’s bringing something fresh to the game. Anywhoo, check out these interesting excerpts:

Complex: How do you transform for that special someone?

Nicki Minaj: Thigh-high boots or some real crazy pumps, some thongs, and curly hair, that’s it. [Laughs.] Nothing else—nothing less, nothing more.

Complex: So is romancing and seduction part of your repertoire when it comes to the bedroom?

Nicki Minaj: I don’t like romancing and I don’t like seduction. It’s corny to me. I like role-playing, but that’s not one of my characters. [Laughs.]

Complex: Sounds like you need a vacation.

Nicki Minaj: I’ve always wanted to go to Hawaii. I really want to go there and just lay on the beach. Then, also, I could have the other rap girls feed me fruit—since they don’t have anything to do right now! [Laughs.] Strawberries, grapes, watermelon, and pineapple. I so know that part is going to make the interview.

  • First of all, if you’re a true music fan, you’ll know that Lil’ Kim didn’t write her hottest rhymes. And I like Lil’ Kim, but fact is fact. And Nicki does write all of her own rhymes, and with Remi locked up, she is the only female rapper really doing her thing now, so she CAN talk shit. And she can spit bars–some times she has fun and says crazy shit, but she also can go hard. Just one example listen to her rendition of Biggies song “Warning.” That shit is hard. And check out Nicki’s cypher from the last BET awards (Nov 2009). She was the only chic and she was spittin’ harder than 98% of the males on the cypher. Hey ladies, let’s stop being haterz and give credit where credit is due.

  • Nicki is cool but Lil Kim is the queen of rap. Yea biggie wrote some of her stuff and she repeats his raps but after his death she wrote her own shit. Remy Ma is wack. When she gets out she’ll still be wack. Conceited was the wackest rap ever. Nicki is a cool rapper but she’s too busy tryna be cute instead of rappin.

  • As far as BEST female rapper goes ill have to go with mia x then Kim.. Mia was spittin hard back in the day and every day real shit so i give it to her first! Kim came with a different swag straight BK style you know that NY NY hot girl flavor and the beats on the first album were the hotest of all of the albums. As far as nikki goes you guys gotta think its 2010 i mean seriously she is takin it to another level in music and its refreshing its a dash of this that and the other and its a good look for her she is mastering it and well i might add she is workin the industry gettin paid and at the end of the day she is just ANOTHER PROFORMER. Respect the craft all their stage characters are not who they REALLY ARE seriously. Men lie women lie Dollas dont. Peace.
