Check out this new exclusive SoulCulture interview of Raekwon where he discusses the making of his highly anticipated sequel to his classic debut album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, including talking about Busta Rhymes and Dr. Dre. As far as his take on hip hop today:

“You know the Golden Era has really been…I can’t say forgotten about but just overlooked. People are more catering to commericialism and you know one hit wonder cats. Nobody really makes albums anymore…that really you could say is a hip hop album. I feel like this one is already in a box to rated as one of the best albums this year.”

In other Raekwon news, the Wu-Tang Clan founding member will be at SOB’s this coming Thursday, September 10th. Stay tune…a give-a-way might be coming up.
