After much waiting and anticipation, all media outlets streamed live footage from Michael Jackson’s public memorial service at Staple Center in Los Angeles. And everything went off without a hitch, except for the bit of lag time due to audio issues…but overall it was an amazing tribute.
Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz kicked off the heartfelt memorial with their rendition of Jackson 5’s all time classic “I’ll Be There”. MiMi’s vocals weren’t like they used to be. See HERE.
This has got to be my favorite performance and tribute to Michael…props to Stevie Wonder.
John Mayer did his own guitar version of MJ’s “Human Nature”…FIYAH!
A very pregnant Jennifer Hudson belted out to MJ’s “Will You Be There”. Love the carefree look.
Usher couldn’t fight back the tears and emotions as he sang “Gone Too Soon”. Even his estranged wife, Tameka Foster, felt Usher’s performance.
Everyone brought the memorial to a close with Michael’s worldwide hit “Heal The World”.
MJ’s brothers big up their brother.
Michael’s daughter, Paris, had the last and most heartfelt words of the service. I couldn’t fight the tears with this one.
I streamed the full two hour memorial service and all I have to say it was fit for King! Hats off to all those who put this great memorable service together.
I seen this online @ work and even though I couldn’t hear a damn thing, when I seen Paris and her face break down…that was it. I was crying right @ my desk. I’m going to be a mess once I watch it with sound!
