Jay-Z aka Babe Ruth went on the Angie Martinez show yesterday to chop it about Hot 97′s Summer Jam, “D.O.A.” performance with T-Pain:

“I don’t know where T-Pain came from”…”I look and I see somebody to my right adn I swear I thought it was a fan coming to hug me“…” It was a little awkward, but it was cool.”

Hov goes in on Auto-Tune and it’s Death:

“I’m not saying Auto-Tune is wack….Are we all gonna make one type of record? Thats how you stagnant hip hop!…every single record has auto-tune, that’s corny!…It’s ["D.O.A"] challenging hip hop to do something else. Alright already that’s been done. Stop being lazy, stop being corny and wack and doing the same thing, do something else.”

Jay continues by saying Kanye was the inspiration of “D.O.A.”, besides the fact he co-produced the record….

“Kanye uses auto-tune bc he’s talented the 180 other people use it as a crutch.”
