2009 BET AWARDS NOMINATIONS REVEALED!

Ladies and gents, it’s that time again! The nominations for the recipients of this year’s BET Awards were announced yesterday on 106 & Park and it appears that rappers Lil Wayne and T.I. have are in the lead tying in with five nominations each. Both Lil Wayne and T.I. are neck and neck in the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Viewer’s Choice categories. However, in those categories they are joined by Rick Ross, Kanye West, Young Jeezy, Beyonce Knowles, Keri Hilson, Soulja Boy, Rihanna and T-Pain. Newcomer, Kid Cudi is also battling it out with singers Ryan Leslie, M.I.A., Jazmine Sullivan and Keri Hilson for Best New Artist. This year’s BET Awards will be held at Shrine Auditorium in L.A. on Sunday, June 28^th at 8 P.M. EST and will be hosted by funny man Jamie Foxx. Beyonce, Maxwell and Ne-Yo are expected to make live performances.
