BREAKING NEWS: KELIS FILES FOR DIVORCE FROM NAS!


It’s official, Nas & Kelis are calling it quits. After four years of marriage, 7 month pregnant Kelis filed for divorce this afternoon from hubby, Nas, according to Vibe. The “Milkshake” songstress is divorcing Nas citing irreconcilable differences. She is seeking spousal support and child support. She is also asking for joint legal and physical custody of their unborn first child.


“I can confirm that she has filed for divorce,” Kelis’ rep told E! News. “We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time.”

Other sites are claiming in the court papers, Kelis Rogers-Jones cited verbal abuse and infidelity as the cause for the divorce. Let me find out Nas was getting N-A-S-T-Y with random broads?! And to think these two were my favorite hip hop couple. Something about their lowkey behavior yet noticeable love for each other had me convinced they were the real deal. I mean seriously if these two can’t work it out, is there really any hope for the rest of us?!

  • It was rumors she was cheating to so they need to tell that cause it aint all Nas fault. They both did wrong and need 2 work it out for da child. Hope its his.

  • If you live your life’s vicariously through celebrities then you would think that you could not have a stable relationship. But its unfortunate that they had to come to a divorce, especially with Kelis being pregnant.
