MARY J. BLIGE & BIG BOI BRING “HOPE” TO HOMEOWNERS

Due to the current economic crisis, homeowners across the United States are finding it nearly impossible to keep their homes from being foreclosed. Well, now they can rest assure thanks to the Queen of R&B Soul, Mary J. Blige and Outkast’ Big Boi who’ve teamed up with Bringing the HOPE Home program, a campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the country’s foreclosure crisis. The group made its first stop in ATL this past weekend and will be making stops in Miami and Cleveland. Mary tells All Hip Hop,

“Foreclosure rates in Atlanta have risen drastically in recent years. So I want to do what I can to help educate people about the options available to them to help keep their homes. They have to know where to go to ask for help. But most importantly, they need to know that they have to ask”.

Big Boi adds, “There are too many resources available for this to continue happening to families in Atlanta. That’s what this bus tour is about; making sure the people here know that too”.
