VH1′S “BEHIND THE MUSIC” IS BACK!

VH1 is bringing back their “Behind the Music” series and are kicking things off with Lil Wayne. “Behind the Music” looks into the early lives of popular music stars, their rise to fame as well as their professional and personal struggles. VH1 executive Vice President, Jeff Olde believes that now is the right time for the show to return insisting that there are so many new artists that people are dying to know more about. He says,

“It felt like the time is right. There’s all sorts of new artists on the scene who have emerged and have these great stories. And there’s other artists that we always wanted to do the first time around”.

Glad to hear VH1 is stepping back from the reality television craze. On another note, whatever happened to the show “Driven”?!
LexAve: For real, I used to tune-in to “Driven” every sunday…the last one I think was on Kanye West. VH1 definitely needs to bring music back to the forefront.
