So it was annouced today that the New Jersey Nets will soon be going by the Brooklyn (or will it be New York???) Nets.  Either way, Hova won.  The Knicks will have some same-city competition again starting 2011, as quoted from Net’s CEO Bretty Yormark,

“We’ll be there for the 2011-2012 season,” Yormark said in a statement. “We’ve pre-sold 20 percent of our suites…We’ve got eight of our 14 founding partnerships already completely signed. Next week, we’ll announce our ninth.”
