BET PRESENTS “HARLEM HEIGHTS”
“Harlem Heights” is a half-hour reality docu-drama highlighting the ups and downs of several young, African-American professionals struggling to balance hectic work schedules with complicated social lives. This drama filled, exciting new series documents the pain and privilege of being young, black, and beautiful in New York. The series is set to premiere Monday, March 2nd at 10pm EST, immediately following “Rip the Runway”.
Another reason to watch…if you care- Kanye’s ex-girlfriend Brooke is part of cast. Learn more about the cast HERE.
I’d never thought the day would come but I feel this is definitely something I’d tune into…
WILL YOU TUNE-IN?!

From what I’ve seen of the clip I am already not feeling this show! What the hell is that guy talking about, “Now that Obama is President there are no excuses!” Is he serious? Just because Obama was elected President it doesn’t mean that racism will never exist. The entire B.E.T. network should be cancelled. They are trying to present this show and it lacks depth. I don’t give a damn about their hectic social lives. I want to see a show where “real” young black professionals are showed in the work place, helping their communities, family etc.

The show clearly lacks depth and I question whether these folks ever stepped foot in Harlem before the taping of the show. The only thing that the show does well is highlight the hot spots in Harlem. The fake thug/ community activist guy role is so unrealistic. I expect better from BET.

I SAW THE FIRST TWO EPISODES…NOT IMPRESSED. THE ONLY TRUE HARLEMNITE IS LANDON..EVERYONE ELSE CAME FROM A DIFFERENT STATE……THIS SHOW IS NOT A TRUE REP OF YOUNG BLKS IN HARLEM..I’M SORRY.
