Usher is playing catch up and hitting a Las Vegas studio to work on his new album w/Jermaine Dupri & Pharrell Williams. It’s been in the works since December. With Usher working, Tameka is back in at their ATL home with their children… vexed!

“Tameka is really upset that she was asked not to come to Vegas with Usher in December when he left to work on his next album,” said an industry insider. “She tried to have so much influence over his last project that this time, the people involved with the record said she had to stay away.” Our tipster added, “Tameka’s keeping her distance seems to be helping Usher,”

Looks like his pet monster has just been muzzled! And speaking of Usher, did you know hebrecently got a full-length arm tattoo featuring various members of his family?? As his new album sans Tameka, it’s about time grew some balls and took charge of his career.
