TEYANA TAYLOR TALKS “FROM A PLANET CALLED HARLEM”

It’s been a while since we’ve last heard any new material from the self-proclaimed Princess of Harlem, Teyana Taylor. Teyana had the masses typing her name in Google web searches with her smash hit “Google Me“. Well now she’s back and ready to drop her newest single, “I Feel Alive” from her upcoming debut album, From a Planet Called Harlem dropping in late April. Speaking of the uptempo track, Teyana insists that it will definitely show off more of her dancing qualities.
For her debut, Teyana has worked with Pharrell on the track “Kisser” and with Eve on the track “Young Girl”. Teyana adds that although she was excited to work with Eve she was a bit nervous because she didn’t know Eve. She says,

“When Eve got on my ‘Young Girl’ song, I didn’t know her. And when I heard it, I was smiling mad hard. I couldn’t stop smiling. Just, oh my God, I can’t believe I got her on my song”.
