VOLETTA WALLACE ON LIL’ KIM x NOTORIOUS NY PREMIERE


The film Notorious not only has some fans all riled up about the depiction of the late Notorious B.I.G., but also those not involved in the production. Word is Lil’ Kim wants to expose Faith Evans and B.I.G’s mom Voletta Wallace. However, B.I.G’s mom insists that she doesn’t have any beef with the pint-sized rapper, in fact she wants to meet Lil’ Kim to ask her a few questions about her “relationship” with her son. According to Ms. Wallace, the film has given her a chance to see a different side of her son that she never saw while he was alive and it has also made her realize that she should embrace those who were really close to him. She tells Essence,
“There were things about him that I never knew that I wanted to see for myself on film. I saw a side of my son that I heard of but I haven’t accepted. I’m angered by certain things, disappointed and shocked. So this film taught me tolerance and to be less critical. I would love to speak to Lil’ Kim, because I need to ask more about this love relationship because I really didn’t like the way he treated her and I’m praying that that’s not it. Only she can answer those questions. She’s a sweet girl and I didn’t think she deserved to be treated the way he treated her, if that’s the case”.

Whatever the case may be, Kim was the side chick and needs to realize that Biggie would’ve never made her wifey. Shorty definitely has low self-esteem to allow his ass to treat her the way he did. No disrespect to B.I.G., was “Fat, Black, and Ugly, HOWEVER”….

And speaking of Notorious, last night the NYC premiere went down the AMC Lincoln Square…peep the some arrival and after party flicks below. As for Lil’ Kim, she was a no-show! Get a full recap of the NYC premiere at ATF.

Something about this flick got me thinking Biggie is rolling in his grave right now…
