On Saturday (12.27.08) ya gurl hit up Hot 97’s Holiday Bash out in Uniondale, NY. I usually keep my industry coverage within the five boroughs but after much persuasion thanks to Monee & LowKey, I made the last minute decision to LIRR it and trek it out to the suburbs. I arrived 3 hours late missing Ludacris, Jim Jones, Kid Cudi but fortunately caught Young Jeezy and T.I. Not to my surprise many of the surprise guests were a no-show i.e. Jay-Z, Fabolous, and Lil’ Kim. Too bad, maybe next time. Anywhoo check out some video footage of Jeezy and T.I. Though T.I. delivered a hot show, fireworks and all…he sure did have a lot of words to all the haters and fakers. Roll the clip…

Backstage Busta Rhymes, Spliff Star, Ron Brownz chopped it up with industry folks. I was hyped to finally catch T.I. live, other than that I’m not too vexed on missing the other acts. Was it worth the trip out to LI, not at all but luckily LowKey had the whip and dropped ya gurl back in the city….good looking out homie!
