MONICA SETS EYES ON NEW YEARS COMEBACK

It’s been two years since Monica dropped her last album The Makings of Me which has sold over 300,000 copies! Well the beautiful and talented mother of two is back on the R&B scene! Monica is diligently working on her sixth album which as of right now remains nameless because she can’t decide what she wants to call it. According to the songstress, she’s caught up between naming the album Lesson Learned or Still Standing which will be released in the first quarter of 2009. She says,

“As soon as you throw up some confetti, your girl will be on shelves.”

Even though Monica’s having a tough time choosing the album’s title, one track is already completed entitled “Trust”, a duet with Keyshia Cole. She’s also enlisted the help of today’s top producers like Stargate and Bryan Micheal-Cox and is really looking forward to working with Missy Elliott as well. We’ll see she’ll sell more this time around…
