DIDDY USES BARACK TO SELL PERFUME…SMH


When it comes to marketing Diddy will come up with just about anything to make a buck! But, now he’s gone a bit too far and by that I mean using President-elect Barack Obama to sell his new men’s cologne “I am King“. “I am King” will hit stores next month and Diddy is hoping that the very same people who voted for Barack Obama will be more inclined to purchase his cologne.

“When you see Barack Obama, you see a strong, elegant black man and when people see my ad, it’s almost like that’s the trend,” he told The Wall Street Journal.

As for promoting the fragrance, Diddy is holding a luncheon in LA is hitting TV talk shows hard body. And of course Diddy is featured in the ads where he’s donned in a tuxedo on the French Riviera aboard a yacht, on jet skis and on helicopters.
When was the last time you’ve seen Barack on a yacht or a jet ski in the French Riviera?! Never…my point exactly! Wow, Diddy is seriously trying to capitalize on one of the most historic events in this country’s history by selling people a small ass and not to mention expensive bottle of scented agua! Real talk, whoever falls for this is a damn fool!

  • Wow you guys really hate Puff that much! When are you gonna realize that everything about him is fueled by hate! The more you hate him the more he keeps doing shit! So its not ok for him to be proud of Barack Obama? Whats so different than a dude on Flatbush Ave selling T-shirts with Obama’s likeness on it? Barack isn’t & never will be in a Sean John Ad. If you all REALLY wanna get rid of Diddy IGNORE HIM! don’t talk about him or blog about him while wearing his clothes or talking about who he’s sleeping with or how many kids he has, you do that & I guarantee he’ll go away
    look at other celebs who are rich but not famous cause we don’t talk about how much we Love/Hate them…THINK ABOUT IT!

  • Well there is a fragrance that is gaining recognition in honor of Barack Obama called POTUS 1600. Maybe P. Diddy should promote that.

    Apparently it is a new type fragrance that does not contain alcohol and is an environmentally friendly fragrance. You get 4 oz. of fragrance, so you getting quite a bit for the money. POTUS 1600 is getting some media attention as well as another product they make based on your DNA genetic code.
