CIARA HAS AN ALTER EGO TOO?!

Ciara is the latest celeb to jump on the “alter-ego” band wagon. CiCi has given herself an identity that’s confident and risk taking at least when steps on stage. Similar to Beyonce, Ciara calls her alter ego Super C and reveals that we’ll be seeing a lot more of her on her forthcoming third album, Fantasy Ride. She tells Right On! magazine,

“When I’m performing, I’m just having fun, letting go and not even trying to think too much about what’s going on. I know that I am here to perform and it’s time to rock it. You become another person. Another person inside of me totally surfaces when it comes to performing – Ciara, buh-bye, all right Super C. Super C is a character that people will learn more about on this record. That is my alter ego. Super C doesn’t hold back. She is definitely aggressive. She goes hard. Super C can do some magical and funky things. She works hard. She dances to the 10th power. She does everything to the 10th power. It’s funny, I haven’t quite gotten her together but I need to have her. She can be a cartoon character or a superhero. There are so many things that you’ll get from Super C and that’s what is fun about Fantasy Ride“.


Seriously Beyonce and Ciara need to stop! You don’t hear Janet Jackson or Madonna running around claiming they got an alter-ego…ladies its called PERFORMING! It’s as simply as that. No doubt Beyonce and Ciara are entertainers to the fullest but all this mess about another personality is pure cliché.

  • Ciara is jocking Beyonce’s swag….Beyonce has everything she is trying oh too hard to get. She has the looks, the body, the voice, the man, she can actually act and she is just swaggerific! Ciara…on the other hand…poor girl, she has the so/so voice, the average girl looks, the straight to DVD movies(which goes to show her acting ability), a surgically “improved” body (i.e.: breast implants), * 2 plus* she has 50cent, who I absolutely love and a great choreographer. People please…..Ciara is not even on Beyonce’s level…..or Alicia and Rihanna. She is in a league known by far too many….the talentless that will bear all for exposure

  • beyonce is the queen of swagga jackin’, but at least she does it well. ciara is just played out & pathetic. didn’t she get the memo that super c can’t save that craptastic fantasy ride cd? ciara seems to bite off bey, janet j & aaliyah. y’all forgot to add trina. that trick jacks anyone who is current at the time when she has a photo shoot, i.e., that ugly ass mushroom wig a al keri hilson. oh, i didn’t realize that right on magazine was still in publication. i loved that mag back in the day.
