Introduction:

I disregarded this rumor a few years ago until a source (who has never been wrong) put a family member in touch who confirmed the following.

In the late 70′s this black male celebrity was involved with an entertainment related (historic event). His career was on fire and he made money in two arenas.

He was living the good life. He was often on tour and traveled the country. On one of his stops, despite being married (to a wife who was pregnant) he had an liaison with a local black woman who had a boyfriend.

After the first encounter, she became pregnant by him as well.

His wife would give birth to a daughter, months later in the same calendar year, the local black woman gave birth to a son.

She never told him until years later that the son she bore was his, instead, she passed the boy off on the guy she was dating, who eventually married her.

This secret would have been buried if the son hadn’t grown up to become a big celebrity and start dating “the daughter of his biological father who was born the same year as him.”

The mother became frantic when she found out and got in touch with his male celebrity father. She told him he had to use all of his power to break the relationship up because “they have no idea they are half siblings.”

The male celebrity was numb with shock, he was a big fan and had no idea this young man was his son.

He tried to break up the relationship but the daughter declined and kept asking why, this is when he had a family meeting and revealed the truth.

His daughter and his wife were shattered but the daughter finally agreed to break it off.

We’re not sure if his son knows the family secret. According to our family source, it’s never brought up around him and things remain hush hush. Older relatives know but have been sworn to secrecy but his real dad is a “friend of the family,” and he did inherit a talent his dad has.
