After hitting up 88 Keys listening party at Cornerstone & Russell Simmons’ Global Grind party (pics will be up later), StraightOuttaNYC and gal pal Aishah over to the Hennessy Artistry Finale Event featuring Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo, & Fabolous. At about 9pm, texts were flooding my berry with “Lex, the line is crazy!” Immediately I thought, “this better not be another Smirnoff fiasco!” Luckily Aishah and I brushed by all the mean mugs and side-eyes to the front of line. After 10 minutes of waiting, the gatekepper let us in. Henny was flowing heavily, hordervous circulated the room and folks mingled the night away. As Aishah and I shoved our way through the crowd, we bumped into Day 26, Fonsworth Bentley, Keri Hilson, Fabolous, Ray Allen and a plethora of tastemakers. Thankfully Leona Lewis, Ne-Yo & Fab didn’t pull a N.E.R.D. by showing up 2 hours late.



Franz straight fiend for Leona but after two songs her set was getting dry. I mean the girl can blow and her songs are great just didn’t fit with a crowd sippin on henny. When Ne-Yo hit the stage, that’s when the party got poppin’ and Fabolous’ collabo made it all the better. Shout to ATF, Monee, Franz & Christina. It’s another record for Aishah and Lex…three parties before 12am- that’s whatcha call SUCCESS!

Andre played it extra close to some blond bombshell, while Keri worked her way backstage.

Day 26 was in the building along with Dawn. Aubrey made her entrance past the paps and keep her distance. Hmmm…

Fonsworth and Ray Allen chillen in the crowd…nice to see Jesus.
