Now, we all know that Kanye vowed to never attend the VMA’s after MTV had him perform at the Palms casino instead of hitting the stage at the award show and to make matters worse he didn’t even win any moonmen although he believed he deserved one. After his lil’ hissy fit, many dubbed ‘Ye as being a cocky ass sore loser, well British sensation Estelle has come to his aid by defending his actions. According to Estelle, more artists should be more like Kanye and embody the same level of confidence. The “American Boy” chart topper also feels that Kanye has a right to be cocky about his successful career.
She tells E!,

“People say what they say about his ego, but he’s very sure of himself and I think that’s a great way to be.”

As for Kanye’s stellar performance on Sunday at the VMA’s, Estelle is sure that ‘Ye never intended to keep his promise about boycotting MTV’s VMA’s.
She adds,

“I’m sure it was all planned. I think people want to see what he’ll bring after all of that and I think they’re going to be pleasantly surprised and happy with it.”

‘Ye can be as cocky as he wants to be especially after Sunday’s bangin’ performance. He made the dry ass VMA’s worth watching.
