It appears that being a singer, an actor and the boyfriend of a talentless pop star isn’t quite enough for Chris Brown, he has now added designing to his resume. This past weekend, C. Breezy hit up the Lids store in LA to show off his new line of six exclusively designed New Era fitted’s, which feature “cartoon-like characters and lettering aimed for the young and stylin’. According to Chris,

“Hats have been my trademark since I started in the business about four years ago. Young kids love hats, I love them. Everyone does. So that’s what attracted me to designing them.”

C. Breezy also discusses the imagery behind the hats. He adds,

“One is of a foot smashing a radio. It’s like saying undeniable music — like when you have smashes. At the same time it represents the rebel in you — not doing the conventional.” And if you’re a true Chris Brown stan, cop the fitted that he calls his “alter-ego”.

He explains,

“Another design is the nerd. It’s like my alter-ego. The goofy side. The character that you don’t really see. It’s like having a logo for my character.”

Now, don’t get it twisted, Chris has made it clear that he isn’t just stopping at designing hats but he also has plans to branch off into designing shoes and watches too. In reference to jewelry, he doesn’t want to be the next Jacob the Jeweler. He says, “Now-a-days, everyone doesn’t have to be blinged out.” He adds that he plans on being more subtle with his accessories approach. “I don’t have be like Jacob,” he giggles. Honestly, I don’t know anyone who would actually walk around the hood with a fitted that says “C. Breezy” on the brim, unless of course you’re a STAN!
