REMEMBERING AALIYAH…7 YEARS LATER

It’s been seven years and this angel’s music and image still lives on…so take a moment to commemorate Aaliyah’s passing today.

Her album Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number was the first CD album I ever bought…and I still bump it ’till this day. I remember on August 25th, seven years ago I woke up to the local radio DJ on campus break the news of Aaliyah’s passing. I couldn’t believe it…I didn’t want to. But could you imagine if Aaliyah was with us today?…just imagine all the groundbreaking moves she would’ve made. WE MISS YOU!

  • Aaliyah will never be forgotten. Not a cliche, a fact. Sadly, I believe this young and beautiful woman passed away without knowing just how many people she touched and inspired. She passed not knowing how much of an impact she made in the music industry or how much HER signature style would be imitated. She was a young legend before she passed. Now, she is one forever. Miss her so much. Remembered always!!
