IS THIS REALLY DATING OR WHAT?!

Check out Chrihanna humping a giant banana, coping free feels, and frolicking in the white sands of Barbados. Yeah, they’re cute and all but this is getting tired. Here’s something that came to mind when I saw these pics, are Rihanna and Chris Brown raising bar on the whole idea of dating? I mean I come from a place where dating is usually dinner and movie, a walk in the park, hit up an amuzement park, catching a concert or live show….blah blah. But seeing all these celebs dating and jetting off to some exotic place and catch some sun and waves leads me to think they’re giving off a jaded impression of dating. Not every dude is like a Calgon ad and “can take you away.” Nowadays I keep bumping into more chicks saying “Damn, I need find myself a dude who can fly me away somewhere…wine & dine me…buy me this, buy me that?!” But is this really dating?! Sure, its easy to score some sucka to buy you issh but what happens when the wining & dining gets BORING! Then what! Maybe, it’s just me being naive or whateva but what happened to a little picnic with some wine (White Zinfindel, for me). I could understand jet setting off with your boo of many years…but someone you just met yesterday- umm, I think not! Then again I guess in the celebrity world, something so simply just doesn’t cut it.

  • I guess it’s whatever floats couple’s boats. I also depends on interests of the couple. A couple’s interest or idea of dating may be visiting sites such as museum, leisure parks, picnicing, going to concerts, cooking & eating home-made meals. Another couple’s interests may be going on expensive dinner/lunch dates, going on exotic holidays and spending money like no man’s business.
