NEW VIDEO: ASHANTI-”GOOD GOOD”


Ashanti is focused on gettin’ it poppin’ after a long hiatus. And this time she’s jumping on the bandwagon (like Chrihanna) and pullin a Jay-Z/Beyonce move…hard! Peep her new video for 2nd single “Good Good” off her recently released album The Declaration. Imma need Ashanti and Nelly to stop trying so hard. The video is cute but this 50′s modernized concept & visual has been done and re-done….let’s try something new next time. The Jermaine Dupri produced track is ight, although I can’t see myself adding it to the pod- maybe I’ll need to hear a couple more times to cosign.

  • love the video! Ashanti and Nelly have been together for a while so she is not jumping on anyone’s bandwagon… bey and jay could take some notes in fact, cause jay acts like bey does not exist! The video is great and she looks great! don’t see where so many people have done this before, but okay, keep hating

  • Hmmm they played it all day on BET..I never made it to the end. Reminds me of “Good Life” mixed with “Tamborine” and mucho corny, lol. I mean its a step up from Ashanti’s usual but this should have been done long ago. Not interested in hearing about Goodies…good good or what not. Can’t see this as a club banger so I’m not sure how it will do. Doubt many will bump it for kicks. Luckily Nelly is in it for more ratings…

  • The video isn’t bad but I could only stand watching 4 seconds of it. The track sounds like one that didn’t make the Mariah Carey CD but with better singing by Ashanti. Not bad. She just needs to get as far away from Murder Inc. as possible. She guilty by association for many in the business.
