riri.JPGThere’s no denying that Grammy-winner, Rihanna is definitely living the “good life”. However, RiRi maintains that she tries hard not to let the fame get to her head and credits her stability to her Bajan upbringing and her close friends. The Good Girl Gone Bad was still in high school when Jay-Z heard her demo and decided to sign her to Def Jam. According to RiRi, she didn’t go into the music business with any expectations, but instead with a whole lotta focus.

She says,

“I didn’t expect anything, I came into it just knowing what I wanted to do. I had a very good work ethic. I still do. Hard work really, really pays off and I’m seeing that now. I keep very, very good people around me. I come from a different place, a very strict household. My best friend, she’s always around me. She is my rock and she definitely knocks me out if she thinks I’m getting out of line”.

I agree. Hard work really does pay off especially if all you have to do is slob on Jay’s knob to get a couple Grammy’s!
