Following in the footsteps of N.E.R.D.’s front man, Pharrell Williams, luxury designer label Louis Vuitton has enlisted the help of none other than the Louis Vuitton Don to collaborate on a shoe line. Last week, Kanye, who was spotted in the front row along with Skateboard P. for the unveiling of Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2009 collection in Paris, confirmed he will be working with Louis in their creative department to design a range of men’s footwear and also revealed his plans to launch his own women’s clothing line which will debut later this year.
Kanye said,

“I’m here for Louis. I grew up with the Louis look, you know. I just love the style.”

At the fashion show, Pharrell also expressed his love for Louis Vuitton, saying:

“It’s got style and elegance, man. And I do love the accessories, I am an accessories boy.”

Looks like this Chi-town trendsetter is well on his way to becoming a fashion icon. Go ‘head Ye- get that money!
