Remember when MiMi dragged Nick’s ass out of Diddy’s Foxwoods party last week. Well apparently, the diva didn’t want him to necessarily come running home but rather attend her photo shoot. Guess she needed an extra helping hand on the set or something…

Carey wanted her new hubby to keep her company at a photo shoot for Elle magazine, according to insiders. “Nick came running to her side very early Sunday morning and stayed with her until 5:30 a.m. when they wrapped,” said the source. “They were super affectionate.” Also on hand was Carey’s personal assistant, who brought a blender and continuously “made protein shakes for Mariah.” Source

I give Nick another 2 weeks and he’ll call it quits.
