SHARPY GETS ARRESTED!

Yesterday Reverend Al Sharpton did his best to shut NYC down with his borough to borough protests in honor of the Sean Bell verdict…or rather injustice. There were peaceful well- organized protests bursting across the city, of course the po-po had to make examples of people and arrested a few, including Sharpy and Sean Bell’s fiance. Granted I’m very skeptical on Sharpton’s actions and intentions…comes off as an opportunist who likes pointing fingers when the cameras are on. But for this he gets props. Realtalk all this apathetic attitude is sickening, people need to stand up and get other non caring folks to pay some damn attention. Otherwise this mess will continue…

SOMEWHERE WE LOST OURSELVES. WE ARE A POWERFUL PEOPLE. WE NEED TO STAND AND BE HEARD. WE CAN NOT DO IT SINGLE HANDED, WE NEED TO STAND 2GETHER. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING NEW, THIS IS HOW OUR BLACK MEN HAVE BEEN TREATED FOR CENTURIES. THEY KNOW HOW POWERFUL BLACKS PEOPLE CAN BE SO THEY SIDETRACK US WITH LITTLE THINGS TO KEEP US FROM ACHIEVEING OUR FULL POWER. WE MUST STAND TOGETHER BECUZ DIVIDED WE WILL FALL. LOOK AT HOW THEY TREATED THE KATRINA VICTIMS THEY CALLED THEM REFUGEES. WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON. WE MUST BE READY, AS MALCOLM X SAYS BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!!
