While rumors speculate that Beyonce might have a bun in her oven, lil’ sis Solange discusses with UsMagazine about the challenges of being a teen mother who’s life is surrounded by flashing lights and her No. 1 inspiration. Shorty was only 18 when she had her son Daniel back in 2004! And like all fairy tales which come to an end so did her marriage to her baby daddy after their son was born.

“I’m sure a lot of people perceived that I was gonna be a young, irresponsible mom. She added, “I think that there are some moms who are 35 who are just as irresponsible. You just have to make the best decisions for you. You have to decide what’s best for you.Who are we to say what’s right and wrong for a person?”

To focus on raising lil’ Daniel, Solange said she “moved to the country for a year” without any nannies or babysitters.”My parents lived on a whole opposite part of the world,” she said. “My son has been my focus ever since the day he was born. He’s been the light of my life,” she added, “the inspiration behind everything.”

Aww! Doesn’t Solange come off as being down to earth?!? She may not be as famous as her older sister, but one things for sure she doesn’t carry Be’s divaish attitude!
