LALA STANDS BY HER MAN!

LaLa’s baby daddy, Carmelo Anthony was arrested on Monday in Denver and was hit with a DUI charge. Apparently, Carmelo and LaLa aren’t feeling the rumors that have circulated all over the internet which claim LaLa played Carmelo when he got arrested. LaLa spoke to PEOPLE about her baby daddy’s DUI arrest, denying the rumors that she was unsupportive and wouldn’t even pick his ass up from the police station!

LaLa tells PEOPLE,

“I want to make sure the public understands that I fully support my fiancé, Carmelo Anthony, and stand by him through this ordeal. I will always have his back and never refused to pick him up from the police station. In fact, they offered to bring him to me.”

Carmelo also felt the need to reiterate his love for LaLa by issuing his own statement to PEOPLE.

“LaLa continues to be a rock in my life, she’s always been there for me through thick and thin.”

Now, Carmelo and LaLa, was it really that serious to issue a statement to PEOPLE?!? It’s nice to know that shorty has his back and vice versa. But seriously rumors about celebs float around the net like every 10 seconds, so why even bother wasting time trying to clear them up!
