Remember the soft spoken not so pretty Destiny Child’s member also known as Michelle Williams. The songstress is back and sportin’ a new edgier look and sound. PEOPLE snagged the exclusive first listen to “We Break the Dawn,” the synth-heavy first single from her album, Unexpected, due in August under Matthew Knowles’ label Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records. This something new for the singer, whose previous two albums focused more on gospel…now she’s venturing into the pop world thanks to Matthew Knowles’ seal of approval. I was never too fond of M.Williams before but now with this new look and sound…I just might have a change of heart. Notice the Rihanna influence, but I’ll leave ‘ole girl alone, for now. Realtalk, could Michelle go platinum status…something Kelly hasn’t managed to do on the solo tip? Does ‘chelle have what it takes to hit big this time around… We’ll have to wait and see…

why is it everytime someone cuts their hair it has to be “Rihanna style…” like Rihanna was and is the ONLY person to have cut their hair! Yet Kelis has done MANY things with her hair and her image and no one notices that.. so that Rihanna hair cut should be called the Kelis hair cut thank you…
As far as Michelle goes oh wow.. she was NEVER ugly nor soft spoken in the group. Ya’ll just seemed to focus on Beyonce to notice that… And of course Michelle can go platnium with her album. She has a lot of fans. Hell both of her albums were #1. Stop tryna compare Kelly to Michelle… they are NOT the same. Kelly won’t go #1 cause she’s stuck in someones shadow all her lift. BUT I did love “Ms. Kelly” I thought that was a hot album!

Michelle is coming yall…and she ain’t takin no prisoners! LOL! Can she go platinum status??? Hells yea…she keep puttin out this kinda of music and gives a little more quality…she will be a true star for real!
